Re: Filed under know your enemy

Here is a Zombie Bible that delves into why they want to eat our brains, and some of the techniques they use to battle us and how they view our fighting abilities. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0984632905/#reader_0984632905" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; "Know your enemy". My Mom has a great chicken wing recipe on the schedule. :D

(She's actually the football fanatic of the family - I like the wings!)

Re: Hello from Denver

Welcome to the asylum! The last time I was in your "neck of the woods" I was at a Calculator Conference sponsored by HP in Fort Collins. (2009) I remember how neat it was, while waiting for Amtrak, to ride around the trolley in some part of Denver with lots of Urban fun-places. If it weren't f...

Re: My advice to new concealed carry holders

Excellent article. I especially appreciate: "Be non-confrontational - By carrying a gun you give up your right to take offense at other people’s actions, as you cannot control where it might lead. This means you can’t offer to “take it outside” if someone picks a fight in a bar, that you have to gr...

Re: Hello from Oklahoma

I lived two of my 55 years in Tulsa with plenty of great times and memories! I liked "The Spudder", lived at 51st and Memorial, and took trips to Woolaroc. Your post sure brought back to my mind some wonderful memories.

Anyway, welcome to the asylum!

Re: Why prep? Fear or Responsibility

The title offers two options - fear or responsibility. May I offer a third option - HABIT? In the late 60's I was trained in the Boy Scouts to "Be Prepared." My Grandparents, who raised me, were survivors of the Great Depression and were Preppers themselves. One of their favourite ways of occupying ...

Re: Range bag/ ammo bag

My Maxpedition Neatfreak was my EDC bag for the last two years, but today, it became my Range Bag. It was replaced as EDC bag by a Hazard 4 Kato, which arrived today. I needed the Kato so I could carry my computer, which wouldn't fit in the Neatfreak. Anyway, when I get enough postings done on this ...

Re: Passed my first Ham test

Today I took my first license test, I managed to actually pass General too, though not Extra yet. It will, for financial reasons, be some time before I get a radio, though. For reasons of long-term economy, I am considering going for an all-mode FIRST, as it will probably be my only radio for some ...

Hello from Hillsboro, Missouri, USA

Hello Zombie Squad! After surfing the Internet for EDC related things, I came across this group. I understand that "headquarters" is close to my home  and like the idea of the upcoming ZombieCon2012 near my home as well. It "sounds" like fun and a great way to network with fellow EDC, Preppers,...
