Re: Little old lady needs a concealed carry .380?

I’ll add just one bit of advice I always give in this type situation... take her to a range that has a good selection of rentals and find out what she likes and can shoot well. And get a professional instructor who doesn’t know her if that’s an option for you. When my buddy does his “wives and girlf...

Re: Experimenting with .45 Super (.45 SMC)

I “converted” my G21 to 45 Super/450 SMC last year for bedside duty (with 185 grain hollow points), and if I were to ever carry it anywhere I’d potentially run into anything in the Ursidae family (with 255gr hard cast flat nose bullets). https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-BHLSbL7/0/3d5cbf20/XL/i-BH...

Thanks for the extra helping of Moar! It may an Irish-American thing, but when my Irish friends/family speak “Irish” it’s speaking Gaelic. Doesn’t take away from the story, but caused a small stumble in painting the mental image when reading that passage about Lucy. Regardless, good tale...keep it c...

Re: Are AR15 FSP set ups obsolete?

The couple I built with an FSP were more about sturdiness and a distinct “look” for that particular upper; though not so much for aesthetics as to allow me to easily distinguish the 5.56 upper from one chambered in 300BLK, etc. for that particular build. Both of mine happen to be on SBR’d lowers Thi...

Beautiful James... just beautiful. May have to pick up one or two of your mid techs to match that recurve fighting knife you so graciously made for my son...maybe without scales/wrap...if you think I could make a matched pair of 5” mammoth tooth blanks or preferably the 4” petrified coral blanks wor...

Nice! Thanks for the update, and good job building depth to your characters without going all”George R.R. Martin” on the details.

Only saw one typo (other than the obvious British to American English disconnects of course): breaks vs. brakes early in this entry.

Keep it coming!

That is blasphemous. No rails on leverguns, you heathen. I have a "rail" on one of mine, and it works just fine. To each his own, fuck you very much. http://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af242/boomslang45/fuck.gif https://i1012.photobucket.com/albums/af242/boomslang45/44-mags-001.jpg “Like”

PSA had their "No Step On Snek" lower receiver back in stock. I couldn't help myself and bought one.
Seriously considering the same...have absolutely zero need for another AR right now, but then again:

Nothing to report this week. Send to Orlando for my 3 days off to meet the gfs grandpa. He’s not doing well and being 89, I wanted to meet him before he passed, glad I did. Though I realized something. I feel guilty not working or being on the property every chance I get. There’s so much to do anyt...

A couple Tandemkross 5-rd mag extensions (15 round total mag capacity) and two stainless steel guide rods with a captured spring to replace the factory plastic guide rod and VERY well-worn factory springs in our SR22 pistols.

Change your mind? Why would I do that? I applaud your refusal to adhere to firearm norms and the laws of logical application. Plus, you should be commended for not allowing gender preference bias influence your decision to acquire what can only be described as a strongly black phallic shaped pistol...
