Re: Input on a tent

Well, I ended up getting the Marmot Limelight 2. Its okay for backpacking and such. Light enough to carry on my own and big enough for two.
Thanks for all you input.

Re: Input on a tent

Thanks for that review on the Tarn tent from MEC mr_dave. I don't think I'll go with it though. I took a look at it this week when I went over to MEC. Not sure It's what I need, I'm glad you like it though.

Re: Input on a tent

Two weekends ago I picked up a Tarn 2 from my local MEC. I should be taking it out for its first run in about a week and a half. Everyone I know with MEC tents absolutely love them, the Tarn 2 especially. I've talked to people that have had their tarn 2 for years, with regular usage, living it in i...

Re: Input on a tent

Can you be a little more specific on what you're looking for? Light weight? Does the shape matter? What material for the poles? How tall are you, how much gear do you plan on putting inside the tent? I personally use an 8x7 tent as my two person tent from REI that I love, but it might not be the ri...

Input on a tent

Well, I need a new tent and wanted some opinions before purchasing one. I know there are some topics on tents already, but I need something a little more specific. To begin with I'm willing to spend somewhere around the $200 range for a two person, three season tent. However, I've had really garbage...

Thanks for the link, I would definitely want to go. However, I usually have an exam around that time so I can't say for sure.

Re: Camelback Water Bottle review

I recently bought a 500ml 'better bottle' which is BPA free for everyday use. I've yet to take it on a hike or backpacking, but its holding up pretty well so far with very frequent everyday use.

Re: MSR Dromedary Bag: Why Every BOB Needs One *Pics*

For everyone who has one of these bags, would you mind taking a picture or two when you add it to your BOB/hike/however? It'd help flesh out this bag's section in the mega thread. Next time I'm out backpacking I'll be sure to take pictures. I also plan to get the shower addition for it as well...th...

Re: Insect Bite of doom

Its possible that the mosquitoes in the area are carrying some infection. They can pass stuff around from what I understand. You should see what happens to me if I get more than a couple of red ant bites. Looks like someone filled me with helium. Ick. Infections are icky. The nurse at the hospital ...

How about a Zombie Squad stress ball? I found a Geek squad one the other day and thought it might be a good idea to make a ZS version of it. front: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/rivia/ball-1.jpg back: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/rivia/ball2-1.jpg Instead we should have one with t...

Re: A scary thought

It falls under "No discussion of illegal activities" I think. Anyway the only thing I was commenting on was the guy who said "I smoke pot all the time", not the rest of the thread. I'm just trying to help, not hijack. I don't even take Ambien that my Doc gave me, so I won't be out of it if I have t...

Re: A scary thought

Wow this hasn't been locked yet. I'll stick around, b/c I'm sure it will be. I'm quite sure admitting to using illegal drugs is a no no, just like discussing illegal explosive is. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. I think the two illegal topics are slightly different. The former is illegal ...

Damn, $46 average. Way to go ZS. I only wish I had a job so I could donate more, but then again if I had a job I may not have time to take a look at the forums and actually see this fundraiser.

Whats the total now?

66606 if you aren't into the supplements how about eating bugs? I hear they have a ton of protein. yum yum grasshoppers.
Most likely not, so maybe a lot of eggs would be a good addition into your diet. They have good amounts of protein I think.

My boyfriend used to be really thin, and like everyone says here protein and exercise was all he needed to build lots of muscle and weight. Which he did, but it took a long while for him to get the results he wanted, so be patient and good luck.
