Re: Gun oil?

Thank you for all the feedback on Rem Oil. Duck and Goose hunting I use a Benelli SBE2. Every once in awhile i'll have a jam, I use Rem Oil. I stripped it all tonight and relubed with Militec. I'll be hunting for the next 3 days and see if getting rid of the Rem Oil made a difference. I'll post how ...

Re: Gun oil?

Remoil sucks. Its probably the worst "gun oil" there is. Get your AK some decent lube and it'll like you a lot more than it already does. Hey Haji, Can you explain why "Remoil" sucks? I've used it many times with no bad luck, but if there is something I need to know that makes it a bad choice, then...

Re: Gun oil?

So does anyone have experience with using "FrogLube" for a extended period of time? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 I'm sure Froglube will be fine. It's the current, 'best lube evaaaa' and has been around for several years. More important than the brand of lube is actually using lubricatio...

I can completely agree with both of you on all points. I to would not intentionally try to be something I'm not, and some of the products claim to be military "style" but aren't. It's all good guys, and I love the discussion, it really allows everyone's point of view. Phew. So I can keep my (not ca...

Counter Sniper Optics

Doc, I couldn't agree more, lying about a government contract is a chicken shit way of advertising. And I would definitely go with a Leupold or other scope if I was going to spend $600 or more. I don't endorse CounterSniper scopes by any means, but I wanted to give a actual account of how the scope ...

I'm curious if anyone owns a Dozier Knife? One of the custom made ones from St Paul Arkansas. Not a "Boker" knock off or other but a true one?

Re: Counter Sniper Optics

I promise this is not a dupe thread. The last one with this title got derailed by some dude trying to sell fake Leupolds. So, with that said: Has anyone had experience with counter sniper optics? Particularly, this scope: http://www.countersniperoptics.com/cgistore/store.cgi?page=/new/product.html&...

Without a doubt, The Stephen King series, "The Dark Tower." Paperback. I know it's not a single book, but the series was amazing! Best read i've ever come across. Couldn't wait for each new book to come out. :ohdear:

Henry Lever Action .22

When shooting this rifle, I feel like a giddy little kid. My wife bought it for me for Valentine's Day and since I have only shot another firearm once. I just don't see any reason to pack up other rifles when I have this (crumby phone pic). http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/s380/Ckam78/0229121511...

Thats an even better bunch of ideas. I never thought about changing the muffler, although it sounds like it would be a change that I would only make while the generator is at the house. But a great idea altogether. Thank ya'll again!!

I've been going through a lot of the Firearms Threads and keep seeing recommendation upon recommendation for best pistols, shotguns and rifles. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ONE'S YOU WOULDN'T RECOMMEND? Casting my vote for the SIG MOSQUITO .22 LR. I bought one for my wife for Christmas. It was her first hand...

Re: Portable Generators

I take that back, many of the RV type gensets are as close as "stealth" as you can get, for portable units. You got $2,500 for a 1KW genset? :D Thank you for all your help ElevenBravo. It sounds like I will be making a good decision going with the Generac. I agree, it would be nice to get one that ...
