If you don't care about glow, try some reflective tent cord - shows up well when you shine a light.

Re: Tactical gloves

What's that first glove? So I have also had several pairs of Mechanix and they have seldom disappointed me but you should really take in to consideration what you are going to use your tactical gloves for and also the weather conditions in which you are using them. Like in the winter when it's reall...

Re: First aid kit for a dog?

Benadryl - for bee stings or loud noises
Curlix wrap and some gauze bandages
One of those socks the dryer didn't eat
Muzzle (not really a first aid item - but might be necessary to render aid)
Tweezers or tick tool
Pliers (think fishing hook)
Hydrogen peroxide (to cause vomit - NOT wound cleansing)

Re: What have you bought lately? (Bug Out Version)

I bought a Maxpedition Entity 23 - would NOT recommend it.
They tried to go "gray man" but by hiding the segmented storage - internalizing it, really, they cut down available space. :|

USGI jacket liner FTW every time. Having good luck keeping my ears warm with a pair of ear muffs, and if it gets real bad (single digits) a heavy fleece hat pulled over them. A lightweight scarf around the neck, under a Woolworth heavy jacket; again, single digits get an added layer of Pendleton woo...
