Re: Another Police Shooting in St. Louis Triggers New Protes
Protests are starting to spread out and away from Ferguson. They crossed the river last night into St. Charles county and were less than a block from my house around midnight last night. Saw a few cars that looked out of place driving down my street, possibly scoping out the area. New motion lights ...

Graduated college with a Bs in Aeronautics, minor in psychology and a "special emphasis" in meteorology, even tho I have more meteorology credits than psych. Figure that one out. Worked security for a few months but found a job as a line service tech at a reliever airport. Waiting for the FAA to beg...

Re: That Wonderful 2am Pounding on your Door
I do have a window that can view the porch and had the knocking continued I would have gone to it to see. My mindset is if it's important, such as friend/family, emergency services or utility company they would have continued knocking longer. They would know that in the middle of the night it would ...

That Wonderful 2am Pounding on your Door
Had my first early morning guy pounding on the door experience last night. I was first alerted to the situation when my driveways motion sensor chimed repeatedly but it wasn't enough to fully wake me up, only brought me to a dazed semi-awake stupor. The stupor didn't last long when the pounding on t...

I planned my on-foot bug out route from my place of work to my mother's place of work. I work full time days as a security officer in the cwe of St. Louis. My mother sits behind bullet proof glass at the police department of a local university, 3.2 miles from where I work. I own a Ford Exploder whic...

I have done recon and I am currently preparing for a shock and awe attack on the student loan zombies. They won't know what hit them.

] My new dd/bov. 01 Exploder Sport, lotsa miles, picked it up under 3. Solid as a rock though. Took it on a camp out with the fiancee recently, easily hauled all our gear with plenty of room to spare. 19 mpg combined, about 22 mpg all highway...

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your
Just purchased an 01 Explorer Sport 4x4 yesterday, spent today getting intimate with it. Noticed that someone already removed the track bar from the rear axle, one less thing I have to do. Changed the oil today, which was an experience. The oil filter book at the auto store gave 2 sizes for my model...

I don't wear one visibly. I have 20' around my right boot and a fixed blade on my left boot. I do carry 50' in my backpack spooled around a scrap of cardboard. I have plenty on me and no one ever sees it unless my pant leg gets pulled up.

Re: Mossberg 464 ZMB .30-30 Lever-Action Rifle
I picked up this gun not too long ago. I got the 464 SPX, not the ZMB. Same gun minus the sticker. My intent with this one is turning it into a hog/truck/trunk gun. I personally like it. I know traditionalists hate this gun and call it an abomination and I agree to some extent. I took the rails off ...

Full time Air Traffic Control student, working part time doing overnights at Target. Re: CCW Ammo. How much do you carry?
My minimum is always 15+1 in my M&P 40. If for some reason I have a gut feeling, or if I am going to an area that has historically had a higher crime rate, then I will put an extra 15rd mag in my pocket, fits perfectly in the little change pocket in jeans - sticks up enough to be easily accessed but...

Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?(firearms rela
Good choice I honestly love mine. Fired 300 rounds atm and I haven't had any problems. I'm hoping I can hit 1k without any issues I hit about 1300 with my LC9. After about 1000 on a very cold day I went to shoot and my extractor flew off into no-man's land, but that's the only issue I ever had with...

I am the proud owner of a new Smith & Wesson M&P 40, two tone, flat earth and black. It only costed me a 2nd generation Glock and a Ruger LC9. Worth it in my opinion.

I have the Streamlight Scorpion, I love it. 200 lumens high, 10 or 15 low, and strobe. Rear button operation with momentary on/off. Weather resistant and shock resistant. Good light, I like it. Uses the 123 batts.

Re: so how many of you have full size vans as a BOV?
On the van topic.. Why not get a crossover.. by crossover I mean Van/SUV/Truck crossover like the 7.3 diesel Ford Excursion... IDK what to call it.. to me it is a badass ZA vehicle. My dream vehicle to be exact.. Throw some 35" mud terrains, a 4", and some lockers on it and it's ready. Time to snap ...
