Re: strangest thing you have ever seen
While driving down a major highway in Ontario, I pulled up alongside a car, only to see someone that fits the archetype of a modern day "douchebag" driving with one hand while using a Shake Weight in the other hand. I was sure that I had crossed over into some bizarre world where all the funny pictu...

Re: Saltine crackers DO go rancid
I have never had that issue with regular saltines. We buy them in bulk and I have eaten crackers straight out of the package more than 2 years "out-of-date" and they were still fine. What brand were you using? Nabisco Saltines. I was surprised myself. They're a little more than a year old - I've ne...

I used to carry this in my wallet all the time:

I've since lost it though. Which is too bad, loved that thing, and was actually very impressed with the blade that came with it.

Amazon.ca delivers to Canada, Amazon.com doesn't. It's a pain in the ass.Blacksmith wrote:Doesn't Amazon deliver to Canada?
Anyways, thanks guys! I'll have to tag along with people to Costco to see if I can find some there.

Clif Bars in Canada
Does anybody know of a good source for bulk Clif bars in Canada? They're available at most Mac's Milk in Ontario, but I have yet to find a brick and mortar that will sell them by the case.

Re: Pickled Hot Dogs (no, seriously!)
So given that a lot of hot dogs have nearly a gram of sodium in them, I'm pretty sure the salt content from eating a couple halves of these must be ridiculous lol. Still, looks delicious. Definitely going to try it.

Re: Need recommendations for a Camelback
Side question, what's the proper procedure for cleaning the bladders? Does it need to be done after every use? There are cleaning kits for bladders with different methods, but IMO just airing it out properly after use (if you're just using tap water) will work fine (if you don't air it out, it'll g...

Re: A-Tacs Combo
Shop around, there are lots of different manufacturers of A-TACS gear now, so there are plenty of different cuts of unis that you can pick up. Use the A-TACS website to find retailers, as there is fake stuff floating around.

This is closer to actual colours, but I'd rather not slave over sliders until the white balance is perfect.

Re: A-Tacs Combo
Does any one know if there are any rumors as to A-tacs coming out in a multi-environment configuration? I'd think with the popularity of Multicam they'd have to be working on something to counter it. A-tacs presumably has a "transitional" variant that nobody has seen, as they were in the running fo...

Re: Distilling
Jester... didn't know you were on here.
Here in Canada it's technically illegal to distill (include freeze distillation), but they only go after people that actually sell the stuff from what I've been told. The beer/cider brewing culture up here is pretty big, and very legal.
