Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your

MOAR on the BOT please I second the motion. I built it from an M116A2 trailer. took it down to the frame, and helped my buddy build it. I basically learned how to weld on this thing. Everything from the frame up has been added. I got some custom canvas put on it, and a tepui tent on the top. works ...

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your

I have not yet, but we just bought 35 acres in Wyoming, so that answer will be yes soon. There is a thick foam pad on the floor of the tent. And we have 2 -40 degree rated cabelas sleeping bags zipped together. If that isn't enough I can run a buddy heater in the ground floor room and the heat shoul...

Nice lookin' rig! :) Thanks! Having a Bug out Vehicle is a money pit. I have so much more I would like to do with it. And the trailer. As it is... it is ready to go 24x7x365. Just have to grab the Zombie plinkin' items and each one of fly away bags from inside the climate controlled house, and we a...

Power Poles Power Poles Power Poles Unless I need a ring terminal or a spade terminal, or something like that, but in those cases I connect to the item with the native terminal application and convert it to a power pole to whatever I need to connect it to. IE: (O)==== Ring Terminal-------------/wire...

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your

I converted my BOT's bolt pattern 8 on 6.5" to match my BOV's 8x170 bolt pattern, got new lug nuts, and put new wheels on the trailer. The conversion ring also widens the stance by 4 inches total so it is more in line with the tow vehicle. I also purchased extra seals, bearings and races, grease, fr...

Re: Siege Stoves: a new tool for bug-out bags /grab-and-go p

I have got to say you need more you tube videos out there. Doing a simple search, comes up with only 1 or 2 made early in development i can guess. If you do this before others eventually do, you can get the flow of the setup out there before folks who don't have this information try it on camera. I ...

Re: Siege Stoves: a new tool for bug-out bags /grab-and-go p

Just want to say that I just completed a transaction buying 3 of the flat stoves with 3 titanium cross-members. Transaction was smooth and everything came to my door fast and as I ordered. The items look and feel durable. Compared to stainless steel cross-members (one in each hand) you can definatel...

Re: Ultimate Bug Out (towed) Vehicle?

This thread is making me intrigued.

I decided I am going to get an Army M103 Trailer and start my build from there. Should be a fun project.

This is the one I am picking up.

Re: Proposed 72 hr. kit

I keep an eyewash station in all my cars. They are like 30 bucks at equipment rental. The reason why this is so important to me is that one day I was putting fix-a flat in one of my tires. The pressure broke apart that section where the tube connects to the screw cap that screws onto the tire stem. ...

Did we say death camps? We meant happy camps!

And I am not sure I would be trusting any "refugee camp" either.

Re: Why do my 2.5 gallon water jugs keep leaking?

I am a homebrewer, so I keep a lot of sanitizer on hand. I guy soft drinks in the 2-liter version, and utilize the plastic containers for water storage. Sanitizing completely before filling with tap water which is already somewhat chlorinated. to keep them all nice and stacking correctly I put them ...
