Re: the Defensive Shotgun; How we make it work--MilCopp Blog
So I've been rebuilding my maverick 88 to increase its effectiveness (sling, buttsaddle with magnum slugs, esstac side saddle with magnum 00 Buck, fiber optic front bead, working on a light solution) and when I went to pick up extra ammo, I mistakenly bought (single aught) 0 buck instead of 00 or 00...

Elberlestock packs, Are They Worth It?
So I'm in the market for a new INCH style bag. I've had a Kelty Falcon 66 for a year or so now and I'm just not into it. It just feels cheap, not big enough, unwieldy with pouches attached and I hate the color. My all time goal has to been a kifaru but they have been slashing designs so nothing inte...

I use a Sawvivor however the company is no longer around. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n220/Daytraderwon/IMG_4292.jpg Woods needs no seconders, but I'll second this recommendation anyway. I love mine. Lightweight, easy to use, and very effective. This... I bought the sawvivor about 10 years a...

and for me personally, the difference from 15 to 17 is not that great- but a 6/7 round mag I would not even consider carrying. So when I say 'if you need a 17 round mag... blah blah blah ass-hat bullshit' I'm saying my 15 round mag I enough for me, why not you? I think more capacity is better, but ...

When you say turn it into a carry gun, do you mean just cerakote it or put a Detective slide on it? Cerakote it, new grips, bobbed hammer, paint the sights, extended safety, all new springs and taking out the magazine disconnect. What color you Cerkote-ing it ? I've been tempted to Cerakote one of ...

Fuck refinishing it. I'd keep that bitch as beat as you bought it. I refinished a HP and I hated that I did it. Disconnect the mag safety and maybe a better drop in trigger and new springs. Other than that, keep it as is. It's a 1957 Browning HP; those wear marks tell a story. Let that story be tol...

Finally after a week of filing, shaving, measuring, banging, and beating I got the surplus polymer plum furniture on my RPK. pics to follow, but it looks nice, feels great and definetly cut down on the weight while reducing the worry of my beating it up.

Thanks Chimp. I spent all night last night watching the Cubs win while having a couple of beers and linking up ammo belts for it. I now have 9 belts linked up of 205 rounds each and one belt of 100 rounds. Yeah, I heard about the Cubs finally winning a World Series after 108 years. Thought that was...

I'm going to guess that is one of those semi auto FN SAWs right? I am mad jelly. So getting RPK74 furniture to fit on a RPK in 7.62 is proving to be a bitch. Damn Russians and their bulky wood and simple engineering. Motoring the buttstock into the ground and hammering it with a mallet is helping bu...

Browing Hi-Power
So I impulse bought a FN High-Power made in 1957, it came with four magazines (two old original and two newer mec-gar 13 rounders) and out the door was 440. Its in ok shape, dinged and dented, minor pitting throughout and the finish is worn off in some places, but the bore is nice and shiny with sha...

ok hive mind. I have a problem. I got a Magpul maglink for the AR pmags, and I cannot for the life of me get it to bolt down with the screws provided, there doesn't seem to be any threads for the screws to grip on to? What am I doing wrong? Also bought an AR lower and a browning hi-power at the guns...

I'm currently using a Blade Tech holster (not sure of the exact model) for my Glock 21 and I think it just has an adjustable retention screw. Being a left handed pistol shooter kind of limits my choices in holsters so I was happy to get that one for a decent price. The one custom holster I own is v...
