Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

Been following this thread to see how it worked out, all I really have to say zommoz is you come off sounding like a pompous a$$ in your statements in this thread (Which caused people to automatically dislike you). And right now this self gratifying bend as well as speaking about yourself in 3rd pe...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

All the people who accused me of hating Chinese radios, working for the competition, not knowing what I'm talking about, who called me every name in the book and suggested that I forged the FCC letter are really, really quiet all of a sudden.

See Zommoz wasn't the enemy. Zommoz was just trying to save you your money if adhering to the letter of the law was important to you. Zommoz is patiently awaiting his long overdue 1.)apologies and 2.) thank yous.

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

The source is the FCC OET. In ADVANCED SEARCH, do a search for ALL results, not just grants but also applications and dismissals & denials from the drop down menu and enter in just the T4K part. It spits out 10 results at a time. It's on page 4 or 5 of the results. It'll be easy to spot since it now...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

Apparently the ones with the part 95 grants will not operate both GMRS and MURS in the same radio. Someone who just received their terminator said that when it boots up it asks which radio service they want and then it locks it down to that. One or the other, not both. A lot of European-spec CBs wo...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

New info, apparently if you run it in the "normal" mode, the mode with the VFO, you have free range over murs and gmrs frequencies anyway. Of course, if you're going to do that, you might as well get one of the cheaper radios. And you can even get some with a legit part 90 certification if you need ...

More lies out of Anytone Tech. For fuck's sake, give it up already. No wonder you got banned from their FB page, you're just an awful troll. Did I post anything that was untrue? Anything? Anyone? You are one of the most tone deaf folks I've seen on the web. You hate the Chinese radios - we get that...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

More lies out of Anytone Tech. None of the 4 radios are in fact certified for part 90 as of their March 9 release date or the date I am posting this. They are labeling these 4 radios boxes with an FCC ID number ( t4k-qzqx3318 ) that was issued for a completely different model radio (the model was 33...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

I don't think FCC cares, to be honest. I think the only thing the FCC is concerned with is whether the check for the application fee is good. I can't wait to see if they get one for part 90. Especially if the emission type is not narrowband. The marketing materials claim the radio is cert...

This just in! Murs! http://fccid.net/number.php?fcc=T4K-8RSERIES&id=680375#axzz3Tv5PRZCF Note the Power output 0.19 watts (not 1.9 but 0.19) The radio is not capable of that. Nor is it capable of that type of emission according to the manual. "This product must not be sold to the general public." Li...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

Here is some FCC ID info for these radios http://fccid.net/number.php?fcc=T4K-8RSERIES&id=627780#axzz3Tvkdew00 I looked up the T4K-8RSERIES on the FCC.gov site. Several listings for T4K but nothing for 8RSERIES. So I have no idea where fccid.net got their info. Until we get confirmation from the FC...

Actually your just jumping the gun trying to bash a radio before it is out on the market. You want to judge the radio without having any experience with it. I am not judging the radio. I am judging the company who is releasing the radio based on their prior actions. You keep acting like it is certa...

Thats correct, there arent any FCCID's in the system yet, but these are new radios and quite a bit aways from being on the market. Mikklor says they should be online soon. We've been talking about it in the other thread, but I've also reached out to Anytone specifically requesting the FCC documents...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

The likelyhood of FCC issuing a Part 95 certification for a radio, and then undertaking enforcement actions against people using that part 95 certificated radio for Part 95 use, is pretty unlikely. All I did was present you with the facts. What you choose to do with them is entirely up to you. My g...

Re: Anytone/Baofengtech "8R" series multi-certified radios

Here's a previous radio that has already been type-certificated for Part 90 AND part 95 operation: Kenwood TK-760H http://fccid.net/number.php?fcc=ALHTK-860-1&id=12041#axzz3SnYsSSdE So, I wouldn't listen to anyone who says its not possible. There's lots of commercial radios that have both part 90 a...
