Re: New BOV

or do you? Lemme see if there is room in my BOV for a wench. Nope. Edited. I need a grammar, and spell checker. Silly me. Nice ride! Much more than just a BOV but it will do in a pinch I guess...lol :) Indeed! Originally I wanted an FJ Cruiser, but eventually reality set in and it just wouldn't wor...

New BOV

Hello everyone! I purchased a used 2011 Chevy Silverado Crewcab Z71 4x4 5.3L Vortec V8 w/tow package. It has ~34,000 miles, 5 inch lift (3 body, 2 leveling), tinting, window visors, Eagle alloy rims, and Hancock DynaPro ATM 315/70/17 tires. The truck is extremely clean. The interior looks amazing, o...

Re: Where to get a chinese SKS

I paid $350 for a decent quality Norinco 6 months ago. She is fun to shoot, but no worth it for the coin. People are still asking $400+ locally for bubba'd SKS's all day long. I'd suggest trying armslist, and not paying over $300 for one.. Also try to find one not screwed with, matching numbers is a...

Re: Alien Gear Hybrid holster, Anyone have experience?

A buddy of mine worked for Old Faithful Holsters for awhile... Needless to say, the Alien Gear Holsters are made by the same guys. From what I've been told they are both a good product, but the Alien line is for the budget minded folks (cheaper product, cheaper quality), and Old Faithful for the hol...

Doc, you probably know this, why don't the yugos use chromelined bores? AFAIK, it's because Yugoslavia didn't have access to chromium. I could totally be wrong, jsut somethign I remember reading when I was researchinG Soviet weapons. Yugo AKs didn't have chrome lined barrels, and IIRC the bolt and ...

Re: To buy, or not to buy: $200 SKS

You can't go wrong for $200.

Sks' in my AO are now running $350-450.

I picked one up about a month ago for $300, and I thought that was a great deal.

Even if it's in rough shape, go for it. Check the group's on it, if they suck, sell if for a profit.

Re: Most common carry caliber on ZS *POLL*

Taurus PT 24/7 G2C .40S&W. Many reasons I chose this but the two big ones are the price and the lifetime warranty. I had the same feeling for about a week...however stovepipes, and the terrible trigger creep swayed me away from Taurus indefinitely. Needless to say, I've drank the kool-aid, and i'm ...

After watching the assembly video of the Shernic SKS bullpup, it made me have serious doubts to how reliable, and useful their conversion would be. I'm more interested in CBRPS' bullpup designs -> http://www.cbrps.com/Products.html The CBPRS bullpup slips on pretty easily, allowing you field strip/u...

Let the panic buying begin...

I just ordered 10 G19 mags, and 9 30 round AK47 mags... at least prices haven't moved yet.

I'm hopeful nothing is going to happen, but I'm a pessimist. :gonk:

I purchased a Taurus 24/7 Gen 2 compact .40 s&w about 6 months ago. After two range visits I quickly sold the gun off (at a $50 loss). The following month a switched gears, and got a G19. Fit and finish of the 24/7 G2 was meh. For the price you really can't complain...However it's clearly not a Gloc...

The only muzzle break that I know works is the stock AKM slant break. You can find them almost anywhere, and they come in imported/american variants.
