Re: Jeep repair guide?

I have rebuilt Second Gen Camaros, Fox Chassis Mustangs and my Fifth Gen Celica (x5) from the ground up via Chilton and Haynes. I won't own a car without one. Sure, there is good information on the interwebs, but Chilton and Haynes are definitive IMO. I own close to fifty of them (all Generation of ...

K&N Filters and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. Been running my Mustang on that since I brought her home. She will roll 80k soon. Sooner if I drove her anymore. I just switched over to the Mobil 1 Full Synthetic High Mileage today for her oil change. We have a road trip coming up, so she needed some love. N...

Re: How much fuel on hand when Hurricane Harvey landed?

I have a company vehicle with a company fuel card. It is my daily driver. I filled it up today at $76, and burned half a tank. My secondary car has a full tank. I sees 1000 miles a year. My project car unfortunately has a full tank. Which means I will probably have to drain it when she gets her new ...

Re: State of Decay 2

SoD was the game that showed me indies could be awesome.

I have as much time in it as I do in AAA open world titles.

This and Forza are the only two reasons I regret going PS4 this generation. I might do it on PC.

Re: My new BOV. Anyone else got pics of their adventure bik

I don't have room for anything on my stripped down bobber. And it sucks off of pavement. But it is fun, and I applaud anyone on two wheels that isn't a liquorcycle. http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/1/4/6/20170610_021102.jpg I wouldn't mind picking up a Ninjette for a traditional Cafe build. Re: First Bow Advisement

My daughter began archery last year for the local 4H Shooting Sports. While she has many coaches to help her, including her mother who became certified at the end of last year, practice has been the biggest boon. She shoots traditional (recurve/longbow). She is right handed, but left eye dominant. I...

Nails as opposed to retainer pins. Clamped off a broken brake line with vice grips to drive home with front brakes only. Two liter bottle and a hose gravity fed a carb when the fuel pump went out. Wire run to a wrench used in the cab when the throttle linkage went out. Straight wired/pop started a s...

Giving this thread a bump because a thought just crossed my mind which many more people have experience with, but I do not, so I'm curious if anything can be learned from it: funeral processions. I'm sure someone here has been in one, what kind of organization was put in place for logistics of many...

While I have built many custom rifles, and shot competitively for most of my life - I have never been a passenger on the ar wagon. When it comes to shtf I plan to be spending more time in the garden than on guard duty, and should it become unpleasant then I am confident I can educate the unwashed m...

PS4 here, other than some minor glitching during conversations, I am liking it. I am fascinated about how my Mr Handy calls my by name. That is pretty neat. I am a little over an hour into it, life comes first. I can see it easily eating days away. The construction system is neat, and available real...

We don't have toy guns in our home. My daughter expressed interest a time or two, but I explained to her that as she has guns, and we go to the range with them, there was no need for toy guns. She has been shooting since she was four. She is nine now and she shoots my AR15 when we go to the range. I...

Re: Aftermarket CPU

You mean tuner, that will flash your OEM ECU. A standalone ECU is not a feasible idea for a stock vehicle. SCT is a popular tuner, but the question then comes to who will tune it. Each vehicle is unique. A canned tune (aftermarket generic) tune will increase power and economy (not always both) but a...

Any tips on fighting humans in the game? I just got this game Monday and I'm still in the early stages. I'm still on one of the earlier missions, and a trio of guys from a rival gang is in my safe area stealing an airdrop. Molotov cocktails. That has been my winning combination, and it works as lon...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

I appreciate the concern for my health guys, the first picture is about five years old, I have already quit smoking. And my life is much better for it. The budget build was (exact numbers) $387 shipped for the parts kit, PTAC 16" upper, PSA lower build kit. $63 OTD for the Anderson lower from Buds. ...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

I have put together several PSA rifles over the last several years and I would be willing to trust them implicitly. My first build was a 16" carbine with the full Magpul treatment, I bought a handful of lowers from them on Black Friday five(?) years ago. http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/files/1/4/6...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

Honestly I haven't shot it. I put a UTG 'Match' sight on it and put it in the safe for an extra AR. It went together good, so I am sure it will be fine when it does get taken out. The quality was good, nothing obvious out of the ordinary. I was just fixated on the $450 price point, I didn't need ano...

Re: Complete AR-15 rifles brand new for 399.99

I have been buying/building from PSA for years.

Over Easter I bought a $350 PTAC build kit and added a $60 Anderson lower. After shipping and tax it came out to exactly $450. I didn't think it could get cheaper than that. I guess I was wrong.

Double check your battery cables.

Then trace them back.

I promise that is your issue.
