Re: What would your last straw be?

So yeah, maturity levels are NOT a matter of age, not by a long shot. As to his running from a fight, talk to him- his own background may factor heavily into that decision- it needn't be an in-born cowardice involved. How is he when given a task to be responsible for? Does he focus well on a single...

They allowed non-emergency personnel to assist here in Sedalia today, nobody is dead that we know of yet, but we pulled out 6 more people this morning and there's 4 still unaccounted for, police are asking for some overnight help and handing out some walkie talkies and safety vests with sewn on badg...

I've been very happy with my Marlin 1895 reworked by Wild West. It's in .457 Wild West Magnum now, which will chamber 45-70 and .410. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ANwwGY4K7EM/TC_LjuXPeCI/AAAAAAAACCk/wOUaHUE3-ao/s640/gse_multipart666561867053016340.tmp.jpg Very nice, gotta love guns that chamb...

Greed

Not a zombie story, but I thought it was okay, it needs work. There once lived a poor young boy, who was given a choice, he was confronted by death himself after his lover had died. The reaper held out his boney hands, and in each rested an amulet, one with the power to make the boy rich, and one wi...

It has a little kick when I shoot .357, but when I shoot 38 Special it is like shooting a .22, just a louder bang! :D I forgot you can shoot .38 special in .357 guns lol, that would be a pretty nice plinking rifle. It is great rifle, I like having a pistol and rifle that share ammo. They aren't my ...

Re: Lever Guns Talk Thread

This is my Grizzly Custom in .35 rem. Lots of custom work on this gun...with a high price tag accordingly. The lever is butter smooth and I can throw that thing faster then any lee-enfield I have every tried. I simply can not go back to stock lever actions again, and I would highly suggest that you...

Didn't see anything for lever guns, and I recently decided (with approval from the little lady) that I'm going to add a new addition to my firearms collection. Re: A true sign that the end is near

My girlfriend approved of me wanting to buy an AK74 if I promised to buy her a semi auto of her own as all she has is a bolt action, she has been adamant against buying more guns since she moved in with me. I kinda stared open jaw at her for a couple of seconds, and then said sure. I'm convinced she...

In the group I have set up for SHTF/PAW, there's this kid named Jordan, he's like 18, not very bright, though I like his enthusiasm to be prepared I can tell right now he is a weak link, he's too dependent, blunders too often, is forgetful and honestly seems afraid of confrontation, he ran completel...

Dual Survival is just... Boring to me, I can never find it in me to suffer through an entire hour of that. Survivorman is okay, it gets reasonably boring at times and I don't know what happened to Les but he just fell off the face of the earth and stopped making shows after his divorce. Man vs Wild ...
