This article seemed rather timely: https://www.breachbangclear.com/jtt-a-t ... k-74-mods/

I wish you guys would stop talking about AKs, it's making me want one again...

Re: *@!$ Snakes!

Evan,

You sound like a guy who knows his way around a snake! Can you answer a question that has been a mystery to me for several weeks? How do you distinguish a corn snake from a king snake (Let's ignore hybrids for the moment)? Is it just the colors and patterns or are there other features?

Thanks!

Re: *@!$ Snakes!

Remember, snakes have a very low metabolism so you can skip feeding them for two-four weeks. Roger! A word of caution, I was leaving for a trip to Europe for several weeks, so I fed my almost 5' corn snake three adult thawed mice. He ate them happily, then about an hour before leaving I looked in i...

Re: *@!$ Snakes!

Nope. Not trolling. I definitely wouldn't eat them (at least not until the bitterest of ends). We have an 11 week old corn snake and a 7 week old king snake. They're both about 15 inches long and live in their own 18x18x36 enclosures. They require water, heat, light and a baby mouse every five days....

Re: Nearly a Billion Dead in Viral Weapon Simulation

Something I've often wondered and this thread seems appropriate... I've heard that the most likely point of infection (I'm sure there's a cooler and fancier term for this like vector or something) are our eyes. I suspect this is why hand-washing is so encouraged. If we're to the point where masks ar...

2. What will the new connector do? Is that really necessary?
Holyguacamolepepperonipizzapie! OMFG! I wish I'd known what this would do.

I got a Ghost connector on my Gen4 G19 and it has completely transformed it. The ski jump at the end is gone. Now it is a nice and fairly linear pull.

I'm no expert but I could see AR-15 lowers being made this way. Besides a goofy single shot, has anyone designed a modern 3-d printed firearm?

That sounds like an impressive range. Have you described the cost and composition of the equipment used to do this somewhere? If not, about how much would that cost?

I think this is a very important thread and am no one of any significance in this forum but I would like to remind everyone that we are not allowed to discuss politics here. I'd also encourage you to consider that all of the so-called rabid liberal attacks on the United States look very different fr...

Re: Glock 19 Gen 4 vs Gen 5?

I think the question should be, do you like Glock finger grooves or do you dislike Glock finger grooves? I have skinny fingers and like the grooves, so I am not interested in the Gen 5 pistols at all. Editing to add two points about your planned upgrades: 1. I would encourage you to take a look at T...

Re: Firearms Chat 5: #pewpewlife

Been quite lately. I'm looking for advice on a CCW holster. Last time asked I got some good advice, such as "appendix carry has been shooting people's nuts off lately." Which kinda grabs a man's attention. Normally I don't worry about targets that small, but lately I've been rethinking that. So wit...

If you're still bipod shopping... --I upgraded from a Harris to an Atlas last year. I am thrilled. It provides a lot more stability and height options. East Idaho (Idaho Falls, Pocatello) has a couple 50-60k population towns, I know they just announced an expansion in the Pocatello hospital and are hiring around 35 new doctors and a bunch of staff. Plenty of local outdoors stuff to do in the immediate area, and it's a short drive to lots of outlyi...
