Re: New Camo Patterns

I've noticed the lack of progress in camouflage in the last four to five years. The only source of new or interesting camouflage seems to be China. I'm a big fan of ATACS but I like this new stuff.

Re: Throwback Topic: What's your top 3 z-pac firearms?

As I have evolved to the perspective that shotguns are passé. Plus I sold my Binelli and can never afford another, I shall offer a slightly different selection: 2010: HK USP Tactical .45 Binelli M1-Super 90 Armalite AR-10t 2019 Glock 17 w/RMR and Silencerco Osprey Suppressor. Spikes Tactical 5.56 11...

I had a KLR. Loved that bike. 17k miles in two years. What year is your KLR? I'm also trying to resurrect an MG that has been sitting for ~15 years. I feel your pain. We did the same thing with the fuel tank but we used gravel instead of BBs, rebuilt the carbs and replaced all the fuel lines. First ...

Re: The definitive ZS MRDS thread

An update... I got my slide back from JagerWerks. It was shipped back 30 days after they got it and they messaged me with tracking info after they shipped. I had them enhance the rear serrations. This is kind of subtle but makes it a nudge grippier. I also had them add radius serrations -this certai...

1. AR10 in various flavors (any good ones?) -IMHO this is your best choice. A joy to shoot, great design, known manual of arms, great support. 2. G3 clones: zenith, PTR, Century, CETME? -I am a huge HK fanboi and I still hate these. They are just goofy and awkward. 3. The new Tavor 7 -No idea but h...

Re: Ultimate ZS Battle/Scout Belt Thread

Anyone care to compare and contrast the SafariLand UBL Mid-ride attachment and the Bladetech DOH? I think the chief difference is that the DOH angles the pistol out. Is this a great, unimportant, bad or terrible idea for a battlebelt? If it matters it is for a Glock (No safety).

I'm not a fireman or anything but I've had the sad opportunity to see a few houses burn down. For me, the most notable thing was how quiet they were. I imagine a boat would probably burn like a house and if something damaged the smoke alarms, I can see people sleeping until they succumbed to smoke i...

I am seriously considering moving armor up to the top of my wish list. I try real hard not to make sizable impulse purchases though, so I'm going to consider it for a few weeks. Plates and a plate carrier are pretty handy to have and not too hard to buy at the moment. I have a Shellback Tactical Ba...

If you're looking for an entertaining and related book to read, the book " Fall or Dodge in Hell " by Neal Stephenson is about the people who have their brains frozen when they die and works with the idea of digitizing these and running them in a virtual environment. Not his best book but an interes...

I can't fly one, the local airport probably doesn't have a hangar I could use and the storage fees would be nuts.
You should call your local airport and ask. I'm sure for that for a reasonable fee, they could provide lessons and hanger space.

Only a mere 8.5 million... Sadly someone like Black Water or Academi will buy it and probably use it. While I would have happily worn the cool helmet and made zooming noises.
