Maybe not in the photo (nice toys btw!) but slings for long arms are a must. What type of AK?

Re: Which Ball Blue Book of Canning?

Frankly they are all good. Some have only canning, others have more types of preserving. This is the newest edition for 2015 - http://www.amazon.com/Ball-Preserving-Pickling-Directions-Cookbook/dp/B00Q5T4L4G/ref=pd_sim_79_22?ie=UTF8&refRID=02KJCCSRAZQRRYJ5ET0V http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/...

We'd like to can homemade salsa, homemade salsa verde, tomatoes, (whole, some chopped with stuff like ga...

If you're thinking about tossing a hugue stock on there, the sling mounts are already there and sturdy. They can be found for around $60 on Amazon. Great upgrade to boot too!

Re: Merry Christmas To Me! (870 Express)

They make a scope mount that attaches with some screws through the two holes for the pins that holds the guts into the receiver. On my phone so I don't have a link. Sorry!
My first firearm was a 870 express magnum. It's been a great gun!
Congrats on the new boomstick!

Re: Wireless network

If you have an amateur license, there is a pretty spectacular project that converts 2.4GHz wireless routers to utilize existing amateur spectrum in that range. It makes a self-advertising, self-healing mesh network that is not subject to FCC Part 15 power limits on consumer equipment . http://hsmm-...

Re: Pentagon bracing for public dissent over climate and ene

Not hugely surprising news really. Even more reasons, as if there aren't enough already, to know for sure the .gov can't really be expected to be there to help us during disasters etc. More than likely they will only be there to cause harm. Good read nonetheless. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk

Re: PREP FAILURE: THE WALL OF SHAME

I am going to take a SWAG and say that you did not drain the fuel line after the last time you ran it and the fuel sat in the line and carb bowl? I will follow that with another and also guess you are using gas with at least 10% ethanol? Am I close? Yep, most of the gas around here has 10-15% ethan...

Re: Basment concrete sealers

Mold or dry rot on those rafters? Check your exterior, grade the dirt away from the house and install gutters etc if you don't already have them. Lots of water issues for basements are caused by that. Where are you located? No experience with sealing basement walls myself. Sorry! Sent from my ADR640...
