Have no fear buying from derf, he might be in France but shipping and communication was great. It took me about a week to get my stuff

RaptorGoRawr is right on the money, hauling your stuff up the mountain on day one isn't so bad, hauling it down gets old fast. Bring the basics and leave the kitchen sink in the car. If you find yourself in need of said kitchen sink you can always go back and get it. If you are worried about getting...

Re: Help for how many of all.

More gloves. I wad mine up in pairs so all I need to do is grab a wad and I will know I only have 2 gloves. Sometimes gloves get holes in them or you need something else out of your bag and the pair you are wearing are covered in nasty stuff you don't want to get all over the inside of your kit. I o...

Re: My Chinook Medical EPMK Level 3

If im reading the contents right it only has 4 pair of gloves in it, i would add a bunch more. You can find boxes of them for fairly cheap and its always good to have extras so you can glove up other people to help you. As an example if you stopped for a car accident you could glove up a bystander t...

My XPS sits on a larue mount (link below) with a troy front and a matech rear. This combination gives me a pretty low cowittness. I dont think you could get the sights to cowitness any lower without blocking the sight picture. http://www.skdtac.com/LaRue-EOTech-Mount-QD-p/lrt.312.htm" onclick="windo...

Re: Reaper13's Blow Out Kit

I was just looking at your cath (i assume its for treating tension pneumothorax) and i if read it right it says its only 2 inches long. That might not be long enough to penetrate the anterior chest wall, all of mine are 3.25 inches long. I also dont see any sort of chest seal to go along with it.

Re: Reaper13's Blow Out Kit

Might want to think about swaping out the gloves. Red gloves seem like they might be counter productive when performing a blood sweep, particularly if your relying on a chemlight for illumination.

Come to think of it, that might be the only pair of red gloves I have ever seen.

I just reworked my bag and one of the things I did different was pack more supplies together that I might need to use together. The last thing I need when im trying to treat a severe injury under stress is to have to dig out 3 things from 3 different pockets For example I have an izzy bandage, a pac...

Re: Zombie Squad lower Group Buy

For my markings i just used paintpens i had laying around and painted over them, and let it dry. I tried to keep the paint outside the lines to a minimum and had to do the ZS several times. For the ZS i just pressed the paint pen down till there was enough paint to flow where i wanted it. When i was...
