Girlfriend and I have been working on our pantry in the basement for the last couple weeks, room was a junk room basically when we started. Now we must get to work stocking it and adding a lot more water. http://i.imgur.com/5PFC7oX.jpg http://i.imgur.com/k60BfHQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/XRpVP1y.jpg

Awesome scenery man, very jealous! What Osprey are you using now? Kinda noticed that with my Kestrel, but the new Aether fixed that with extra padding on the hip belt and harness. Dig the hammock rig. :awesome:

Glad I could help. Dutch is well known over on hammock forums and is a solid guy, I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from him and always gotten great service.

Plus we cleaned out the basement of most of the junk from the previous owner (house was a foreclosure). http://i.imgu...

Lookin' good, man! I need to go to the store and get some stakes for my tomatoes, and a lattace sheet for the cucumbers to climb. Not sure if you have a Menards near you, but they have tomato cages on sale right now for .79 a piece. Probably not, since I've never even heard of them, lol. Kinda like...

Re: General Fitness Discussion thread

Think my body has found the ideal weight. I was running about 172-175 and felt like I was always sluggish and hungry for some reason. Started eating a bit more and drinking whey protein in the morning and afternoon, settled in at about 180 and all those issues went away. Scale pretty much hasn't bud...

Re: Andrew Skurka, Ultra Light Hiker

He gave a seminar at a local shop here in town about a year ago that I went too. Lasted about an hour and was pretty much like that video posted, brought gear with him and discussed his past "mistakes" when he first started hiking, etc. Had a little Q&A session at the end and chatted with folks afte...

Lil' container gardening I've been dabbling with on my deck, tomatoes and bell peppers. Tin foil tray has heirloom herbs in it. Cilantro, parsley, dill, basil and oregano. Need to transplant them into bigger containers (herbs) here shortly.

Danner Instigators I bought back last Aug. are still holding up well. Pair before that lasted 4 years, been doing a bit more hiking in these new ones so might not get that amount of time out of them. We'll see.

Bit of "old school" porn. Handed down to me from my father and his father. Winchester Model 1910 SL .401, per the serial number manufactured in 1918. Originally sold for $30 new in 1910, 20,876 made until 1936 I believe. Used by U.S., Russia and France during WW1. http://i.imgur.com/8cJl0wq.jp...
