If my chickens and rabbits were gone and I did not have a firearm, I would hunt with my bow or my slingshots. I have taken small game with both and deer with my bow. In that situation I would also use my traps.

What do you have planned for those toothpicks? Don't know about you, but I use mine to get at something stuck in my teeth. Why do people say to use small eye screws to make a fishing pole? My first fishing pole was a 10' bamboo pole, line tied to end with hook, sinker and bobber. No reel at all. No...

Re: .380ACP idea's

I have the I.O. Hellcat and a Ruger LCP that I carry when I feel like tossing a gun in my pocket instead of carrying IWB. Both conceal well in the pocket holster and I almost forget they are there. But I also only carry ball ammo in them since I would like more penetration with the underpowered .380...

Bought some key rings and chainsaw blades to make my own survival saws. Also bought some 50 pound picture wire to make my own survival snares. You can get about 10 good snares out of a 25 foot roll.

New 1911

I recently bought a S.A.M. Commodore from century and am quite pleased with the results. Some of the reviews I have read said that this pistol may use the rock island frame and their own slide. So far it seems to be pretty well made. It comes standard with the extended slide stop, extended saftey, a...

You could also try the Nagant type rifles. Cheap and really cheap to shoot. Mine has also been good to me as well taking it hunting. They are not the greatest rifles, but they are inexpensive and cover many bases at the same time.
