See All Open Sight: AK with Ultimak

I have not seen a lot of stuff on this product and I have seen zero information on this product being used with an AK platform. So I decided to put a little quick something together in case someone else is wondering about the See All Open Sight on an AK This is the “See All Open Sight”. It has been ...

Re: Honey Badger: A True Dissipator AR

I had read that back in the day, when guys were experimenting with a rifle-length gas system on a chopped down barrel, they were getting timing issues and other problems with the gas system. Have you noticed anything like this pop up yet? I haven't noticed any issues But I took steps to avoid issue...

It's a blackhawk "enhanced" safety....I like it and retails for about 20 bucks.
Not the best option but well worth 20 clams

Re: Honey Badger: A True Dissipator AR

Dang that Magpul rifle furniture on a carbine is sexy as hell. Question though, why didn't you do a faux-dissy, with the carbine length gas system hidden under the hand guard with a low profile gas block and the FSB just acting as a front site and anchor for furniture? The rifle gas system has almo...

Re: Blitzkrieg componets: cheveron front sight post

I got the Blitzkrieg sight install in my Huldra Piston upper and took it to the range for a sight in and test fire. http://i1173.photobucket.com/albums/r584/rosco1618/0725161012b_HDR_zpsjialelam.jpg That’s 25 rounds at 25 yards in the kneeling rapid fire (1 shoot per second) So far I’m a fan of the ...

Re: Blitzkrieg componets: cheveron front sight post

Seems like a gimmick to me. One obvious problem for an AR is that chevron makes it impractical to zero the elevation by rotating the front sight post, since the chevron only points in the right direction with a full rotation of the front sight post. Not that there's anything wrong with trying to im...

Re: Blitzkrieg componets: cheveron front sight post

Doing a little reading on reviews already out there on the product, it has pros and cons If you are into hitting a man sized target at 500 yards with 5.56 and iron sights...this product might not be for you. If your into quick metal target engagement at under 200 yards with iron sights....this might...

Blitzkrieg componets: cheveron front sight post

I stumbled on an interesting new ar product. It's a replacement front sight post that's a ACOG cheveron for better visibility when using iron sights. I picked one up and will be testing it once it arrives http://www.blitzkriegcomponents.com Picture below of what the sight picture would look like htt...

RZE Unimag: Making the AR 7.62x39 Dream a reality

I like the AR for the familiar ergonomics and overall fell I hate the 5.56x45 do to personal experience with the round not stopping a target. I'm a fan of 6.8 SPC but the cost of ammo is outrageous I have been wanting an AR in 7.62x39 for as long as I have been building and buying rifles. But, the s...

Re: Ras47 by century arms

Anybody have any thoughts? Freuderlocks Buy a WASR or a N-PAP. Or a DDI if you want an all-American gun. The RAS47 is dogcrap. Go to YouTube Search "AK Meltdown" Find the one where they converted a Wasr 10 to full auto Link is below for ease https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlL-uRkJ0yA THe Wasr last...

Re: Huldra 5.56 piston upper Project

I'd be interwsted to hear how that works. I might kick in for the PWS special snowflake buffer tube someday, but for now I'm just greasing up and keeping an eye out for carrier tilt. I just ordered a colt heavy buffer a tubbs buffer spring. If I need more recoil management I'll go with the a5 tube ...

Re: Huldra 5.56 piston upper Project

I decided to use the barrel and piston for billet build using midwest industries upper and lower. I also want to use magpul's slim line handguard. Two parts I will need are Adam arms Rod bushing for the upper receiver and the pre cut round handguard cap for the piston (also from adams arms). Total ...

Re: Huldra 5.56 piston upper Project

The Huldra's are made for them by Adams Arms. I've got one of those as well, Bud's had it as a complete midlength rifle for $599 and I added a Samson Evo EX9 handguard. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk I sorta thought the piston rig looked familiar. I have an Adams kit with a Voodoo barrel, but...

Huldra 5.56 piston upper Project

I picked up a Huldra Arms Mid Length Piston upper chambered in 5.56 for about 450 bucks on Gunbroker. I have never dealt with a piston AR except for an Osprey 416 kit I came across a few years ago. I have been curious about a proper piston set up, so I jumped on this deal to give it a shot. Since I ...

Deal: Huldra 5.56 piston upper- $475

I was cruising gunbroker and I found a Huldra Arms Mid Length Piston upper chambered in 5.56 for 450 bucks plus shipping. The link is below and he still has a few left at 475 bucks if anyone is interested. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/561582573 I will be posting a separate review of this upper so a...

Re: Honey Badger: A True Dissipator AR

I never gave a dissipator upper much thought, but yours looks really good with the Magpul hand guard and not the "ribbed for her pleasure" milspec one I like the gold as well. The rifle gas system does a lot for recoil management. Fire 50 rounds from the dissy and the 50 rounds from a standard carb...
