Re: Buying handgun at a gun show?

You do NOT need any kind of permit to buy any type of firearm in Georgia-of course NFA rules apply to those specific firearms. If it's a private sale, it's between the buyer and the seller. If you buy from an FFL at a gun show, they will do all the required paperwork and do the background check phon...

Secure Comms with iPhone

Found this; https://silentcircle.com/ Looks brand new, anyone have any experience with this or something similar? Obviously, all parties would need the app and subscription. I can see Gecko45 getting this and then talking loud enough for everyone within a three mile radius being able to hear and the...

Anyone seen this yet?

Kind of 'airy' for zombie-defense...and what's with green being the official zombie color?

Re: Your Prepping Response to Recent Events

See? Bull gets it. OP-my apologies, wasn't trying to derail your thread. I'm actually doing nothing different. It's going to take more than a random event and a bunch of media hype to spur me into action. I mean, seriously, if a guy living in a city that's 7-10 feet below sea level hasn't changed an...

Re: Your Prepping Response to Recent Events

Z28-I was actually looking for the bunkers show and found the preppers by mistake. I think it's on NatGeo, no clue what night or time. I will caution you in advance, it's not exactly what I would call a series of training video's. Think Man vs. Wild only with the cast of Jersey Shore instead of Bear...

Re: City of the Dead- Buy Your Own Zombie Fortress Base

Now if you could get one still equipped with prisoners, then you would have a fighting force. The thieves could be used to acquire needed items for long term sustainment, some of them are already experienced killers, and most of them would have hand-to-hand experience with and without edged weapons....

Re: Legal Definition of Rifling

Not really sure if rifling a barrel would actually classify it as something other than what it really is-and I'm sure when it was marketed as a .75 caliber rifle chambered in 20mm x 68mm, it would probably not pass the smell test. I honestly think there is more to it than having a rifled barrel, aft...

Anyone ever tried/used KG-1 & KG-12? Just wondering if it lives up to the hype:

Re: Comments? Questions? Concerns? Spontaneous Snide Remarks

I kind of agree with that logic-even a .22 conversion would provide more 'realistic' training. It would suck having to reload a primer and pellet after every trigger pull

Comments? Questions? Concerns? Spontaneous Snide Remarks?

Not sure if this is the correct location, but it seemed appropriate-mods please move if necessary. Just looking for opinions and such. Anyone ever used these-or similar items? Do they work? Are they worth the money? Definitely cheaper when you consider equivalent amounts of real ammo. I wonder about...

True, I would just rather be in Connecticut or New Hampshire :D -but Glock is in my top three choices, I just know it's a love/hate thing with plastic guns
