Re: Building the ULTIMATE in Gun work & Reloading Benches

Very nice! I'm jealous of all the storage space. I built a small reloading bench outta scraps from a kitchen remodel. The only things I had to buy was a 4' work light, a 1"x6" for a frame for it, and a surface which I picked up for 50¢ as a scrap from the local Lowes. I moved a pegboard from another...

The inside is approx. 4"w x 2¼"h x about ½"d.
It's just a catch close, push button open. And cheap.

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

I ordered a BCM A4 Mod1. I want a Turner AWS National Match sling. What length do I need? 50"/52" or 54"/56"? I'm 6'4" so I guess the longer one? :selfquote ftw: Anywho, thought I'd post what I found out in case anybody wandered by this thread with the same question. I sent Turner Saddlery an e-mai...

Re: Question about a Gen3 G19

I dig the humor and the preparation. Very nice. Thanks. I started her out when she was 7 with Davy Crickett and Bersa .22's. Recently I bought her the Glock 9mm and a Daly youth model 20 gauge. Probably gonna sell the Daly and pick up a youth 870. When you have a shiftless wife, you gotta have some...

Question about a Gen3 G19

Several weeks ago I bought my daughter a Glock Gen3 G19 for when she's ready for college. Since that's still several years away, I just stuck it in the gun safe. The other day I got it out to take pictures, write down the serial number, etc. to save for insurance purposes and noticed the frame 'slan...

Anytime I see a dude with a man purse, fanny pack, etc. the first thing I think is "dude has a gun." But then again, I'm not the "one of the on...

I see you figured out the strap lengths. Nice to know that you can squeeze a hundred feet of 550 into the strap. Yeah, I really wanted to use the grip sling point like you did. The rifle just carries better that way (imo.) But going back to the butt sling point added approx. 30% more cord to the sl...
