Re: The one stop shop for air guns

Another question. I have a couple old air guns. One is a Benjamin Sheridan pump and the other is an old crossman BB gun that you cock by pumping the barrel. Problem is, neither of them have any pressure. Do you think I can save them by oiling the seals or are they just done? Oiling the seals is alw...

Re: .410 Shotty Problem... (With Pics)

Mag problems can be a pain to figure out. Most time it`s the feed lips. Maybe try a little dry graphite lube to make sure that the follower is moving properly. Also, with rimmed cartridges and shells it`s important to make sure that each successive rim is in front of the previous one when loading. G...

Re: show off your remington 870 12ga

Hey Brock, that electrical tape on the stock will screw the finish up. I know `cause I did it to mine. Those nylon shell holders are slidy bitches. I finally bought a lace on Galco. Oh wow. Good to know man, thanks. I'm not super concerned with it, since I've got it more for function over form, and...

Re: Hanzos 1,000,000 reason to buy a Land Cruiser!

Put a set of KC Daylighters on top of your next cruiser. When you fire back with those it makes assholes think about what they are doing. Dangerous, and illegal. Stupid too, if they end up slamming into you head-on. Sorry, I should have said flash those KCs. It`s not like driving around with your b...

Don`t know how good they are or where they`re made, but Cheaper Than Dirt recently had some at 4 for a hundred bucks.

If you intend to use a buttstock shell holder, get the lace on leather one from Galco. The cheap elastic ones slip and slide and are a general PITA.

[quote="Neville"]I kind of wish they had called me and asked if I wanted new or used hubs. Not really thrilled with the set they scavenged.

Probably not a big deal, but I think I would be a little pissed at not getting my origional hubs with the IH logo.

This will mainly effect me in that I will have to continue living under (and paying for) the ridiculous security theater BS that has infected my formerly free and brave nation for ten fucking years. What can preppers do? Same thing we've been doing. The most likely targets are my civil liberties an...

Re: 3 speed bicycle

Thanks TacAir. I can already see that I`m going to have to modify mine if I keep them. Handle bar is too narrow and swept back. I almost bang my knees on it. I can play around with them and not have to worry about screwing up a classic.

Re: 3 speed bicycle

JC 'Penny' is a retailer - the bike was most likely made by Huffy. IF it is really old the bike, it may have been made by Raleigh -- you will see Made in England on it -- much better than a Huffy.. Is there a model number or name/some kind of ID. Or, look at the rear hub and see what is stamped the...

3 speed bicycle

I picked up a pair of J.C. Penny "lightweight" 3 speed bicycles at the flea market this morning. They are his and hers and look a little vintage. Anyone know anything about them? How do they work, how well do they work, etc.? Thanks

The wasp spray is probably bad advice. It clearly states on the can that it is a crime to use that product in a manner other than what it is intended for. The companies that make OC make some pretty good products these days that can shoot just as far as those wasp sprays can. As far as the other st...

Re: Cigarettes? Dip?

I tried my hand at growing a few tobacco plants several years ago. I live in an outskirt, suburb type area - no tobacco growers around here. I thought my plants would be safe or at least little bothered by tobacco worms. Wrong! Those bastards come out of nowhere, overnight and with a helluva appetit...
