Re: Building a BOBike

I have an older Trek MTB I electrified at the end of 2016. Put 18 hundred miles on it commuting and getting groceries, and blasting through canyons. I love it. Love is not a strong enough word. https://i.imgur.com/FDkefjXb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/iFhOlxMb.jpg Motor is a Bafang BBS 02 750 watt @48vdc...

Re: The Dawgvan: 64 Dodge "Bug out Van"

Hey guys... So I have not been here in a LOOOOONG time, and I figured I would give you an update. Last I left this, I was fitting a new radiator, and well, life intervened in the form of a couple moves, and spinal surgery... So finally, over the last month, I have been back on the project, and I fou...

Ahh my findings... forgot about that... 22LR shot well, That 8" grouping is about what I could do with the crappy grip and lack of a real site. I did not see keyholling with 1450fps cci solids. It's got a little snap to it. Black powder: Nice big cloud, nice big bang! I did see a couple keyholes in ...

Re: Ultimate ZS Battle/Scout Belt Thread

Everyone has their style, right? I wanted a belt setup, in a Sam Browne style with an ancient Celtic style for fun things I do with some "re-enactment groups". So this belt is an old style with some new features... The bag has placements to hide my electronics, but also hold my BP tools as well. The...

I'm a boots and suspenders guy. Have an unused sawyer plus a bottle of polar pure(Which is being sold again). The polar pure is my first defense, It then goes through the filter... I do have a hopelessly clogged sawyer, from a trip in the desert.

And boiling is always there...

I have a buck 110 from the 70's, wanna buy it??? :D it's about has heavy as my RAT 6... I chose the RAt 1 as I like the quality. I would not need to do this though, as I am so happy with my cheap-ass CRKT m16.

NAA Super Companion "Conversion therapy"

I have always wanted an NAA Mini revolver, since the first time I saw one. They just have to be the "cutest" little revolver ever. And well buit to boot, but could never really justify it to myself, as My mark III is superior in every way as a .22 pistol, except size. I like to shoot BP too, and ran...

Lol, They dropped it about 2 blocks from my home, on a different street, on a canyon edge, and most likely they are long gone. Living right next to a major university brings a lot of short timers through.

I have just a huge amount of leather still, so more projects to come.

Think of Syria and how that has affected the whole region. If become a refugee in the US can I go to Germany or Sweden and get a free apartment, job and stipend? Re: Sort-of random crappy leatherworking from from free leat

I think it looks pretty cool. Does the knife sheath have a welt between the stitched area surrounding the blade? The knife sheath is simply a piece of leather wrapped and stitched around a coyote tan plastic OEM sheath that has grommets and molle slots. The black leather belt loop is simply bolted ...

Posted here as diy fun Sometimes random bs happens to coincide well. To make a Kentucky rifle a spear, Whittle out a wooden point and jam it into the barrel... Not good for throwing, but certainly stabby-stabby enough to use for defensive purposes...

Re: You can only choose one not ideal gun in Alaska.

Nobody chose the flintlock. It does have some advantages. 5 rounds of big bore, but you could half load it and get 10 shots. No reason you could not load it with gravel for taking small game, and in a long term situation, you might even be able to improvise black powder out of charcoal, nitrates or ...
