Re: Zombie Squad: Tiny House edition?

One thing I learned after putting together mine, was that I wish I would have designed it the other way around. Most people have the door at the back of the trailer. One problem that I didn't see with that, was that most places don't have pull throughs. So if you were to have to park it for a longer...

Re: Lets Talk: Air Rifles!

I think in general it's because it has a smaller air reservoir that you can pump it up so easily and quickly. It's enough to get a good 14-16 shots out of it on an even keep at your shorter ranges like around 30-50 meters. It's trajectory is probably mostly affected at the 50-100 meters. But when yo...

Re: Lets Talk: Air Rifles!

It's a little tougher than a standard pump pellet rifle. Filling it up from zero takes about 80 pumps. It will take about four or five pumps after each shot if you want to get it back up to the 3500 PSI mark. There is an integrated pressure gauge on the side that allows you to see what you pumped up...

Re: Lets Talk: Air Rifles!

I recently picked up the Seneca Aspen in 22 caliber. I'd liked it for several reasons. 1) Price- Around $300 it's not bad at all for a PCP air rifle 2) Self-contained- this PCP actually pumps up like your standard over-the-counter Crosman type air rifle, eliminating the need for bulky pumps or air b...

Re: "Daily COVID-19 SITREP In Your Area"

I went to go buy onions today to make a dish, and I was surprised at how bare a lot of the shelves were here in western Colorado. I sort of likened it to Communist Cuba. Non-perishable dry stock items potatoes, onions, squash we're all gone. I grabbed the last bottle of distilled water off the shelf...

Colorado just got it's first case. One person in Summit County. Related to a cruise ship infection. Four health care workers being quarantined.

BTW, for those of you that haven't thought of this and expect to get water locally.

Always know what is upstream. Whether it's a petro-chemical plant or just jerks who pollute the water with their waste.

Re: Hurricane Dorian.

Being a survivor of Hurricane Andrew, I can attest to this. Whenever you have a limited amount of resources and a large number of people who were not prepared, there where quite the number of looters attacking. Stories of neighbors of 20+ years shooting each other for food. Canadian Prepped just mad...

Re: What is your opinion on prepping?

I just haven't seen any die- down of prepping activities. It's at least a semi certain method in uncertain times. I still see the same names here and a few are added every so often. I think the world.is becoming more fearful of the times.

I fear when these things somehow cross-breed with lonestar ticks, and we have an army of clone ticks that make you allergic to red meat. It isn't just red...

Re: Sick in a Bug Out. What do you do?

Let me, by all means necro this thread. I have been going on about 5 weeks now with a cold. Just your average run-of-the-mill cold. It started in the sinuses, I took some decongestants, and it dropped to my lungs. I happen to have Albuterol the nebulizer on hand try and treat myself, and I still got...

Re: What Did You Do Today To Prepare?

I finally got a UPS for my CPAP. It was a huge hole in my preps. Emergency power is a work-in-progress at Bunker de MP . I was having trouble with this. I found a generator that ran through the night but not very tactical. I found a CPAP that actually ran on 12v power supply used on Craigsl...

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your BOV

Not sure if any of you are into LED headlight upgrades. But everyone on my Jeep forum is raving about these Trucklight knockoffs. Trucklights are the high end led headlight. That generally run several hundred dollars. These knockoffs are supposedly about 99% as good. And they only cost $99 in a 7 i...
