Re: How can you afford to prep?

I'm more of a minimalist since kicking out the ex, she was from a family of ye with the most stuff wins. I have no cable TV, I read allot. I basically cut down on the BS expenses I didn't need. Ive also been selling off some of my own useless stuff, and extra guns. Start by picking up a few extra ca...

Re: AK mags

I get mine from aimsurplus.com That EMA Tactical AK Mag Release looks interesting. Anyone tried it? I created a thread asking the same question awhile ago, the response was an overwhelming "No". I have one like it on my 9MM AK pistol. Its useful on it but the drum keeps it from accidentally getting...

There is a problem with the ACR that can cause it to go full auto. If anyone here has one, or knows some one with one, ya might want to know, or let them know.

My dealer has one, hes in the process of becoming a dealer for them. It looks interesting. He says its easy to keep on target with it. If I get another AR I just might get one.

Violence is not a game! Jamoni is 100% right. As soon as something goes to physical violence it may not end until one or both parties are dead. Fighting shouldn't be about "winning" it should be about stopping the threat. I think you would have been within your rights to call the guy on treating hi...

Re: How often do you practice your draw stroke?

I have no idea where it came from or what particular martial art, I learned this from a guy I use to work with. He was big in to knife fighting. All of my martial arts training has been a mix and match of different arts. Take your knife hold it regular or inverted, inverted being blade along forarm ...

Re: How often do you practice your draw stroke?

Alright, I'll bite. WTF is a 4+4+3=0 drill? Google just gave me power drill bits. Its not a very popular drill but it is useful, I learned from one of my early instructors. For this take a Compass, it has four points, North, South, East, and West. Then there are four intersecting points North west,...

Re: .22 Handgun for survival

I keep a Beretta Neos in my INCH, the 22 is a good choice for SHTF. I mainly plan on small game hunting for mine, I have guns for bigger game. Of the two choices there both good guns and I've been able to shoot both. Id recommend against the Hi-vis sights for a survival or hunting gun. I have a frie...

I practice my draw of my pistol and my knife every day when I get home, I gota take em out of there respective carry position any way. Other than that pistol and knife drills are a weekly thing for regular practice drawing, and reloading as is my 4+4+3=0 drill for the knife.

What do you make yourself, And why?

Since being self sufficiency means just that I was wondering if any one else on here is trying to be able to basically make there own basic necessities should we go a full 1800s collapse of services. Its not likely to happen but I want to be living that way some day so Ive started learning as much a...

The battery in mine is old and needs replaced but stand alone its good for two hours. There is a battery that fits in the CD rom slot also, it and the regular battery is supposed to go for 6 hours, I don't have it so I cant attest to it. as for the bulky yes it is, as for heavy...yea...grow stronger...

Re: What to do AFTER the Financial Collapse

I worry about the upcoming "new" dollar - I call it the Chocolate Dollar. It'll be backed by a basket of commidities, so why not Chocolate? The worry comes from where the new Govt ( and there will be a new one of those) will take in greenbacks at 10 or 100 or 1000 to one of the new dollar. Check th...
