Re: curing type 2 diabetes

I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes four years ago, which was being treated with Metformin. In the past 10 months I have changed my eating habits, lost 50 pounds and have been on an aggressive daily exercise routine. My A1C has been consistently below 6.0 for quite some time and my physician has c...

Re: Underwear: What is the best to have for everyday/bugging

Ah, a topic that hit’s close enough to home, that it compels me to add my comments. My quest for the perfect undergarment has been a life long struggle. At various times in my life, I have found myself in briefs, boxers, boxer-briefs and back again; always left feeling underwhelmed and a little let ...

Re: [NET] 1/1/12 ZSARC

Luckily Mrs. NoAm is usually quite generous and doesn't suffer from the same sharing issues I am afflicted with. Although she would undoubtedly share her microphone with me, I am rarely tempted to interject myself into the conversations. I am content to sit back and listen in awe.......

Re: Just finished reading One Second After

Mrs. NoAm and I both thought that One Second After was a fantastic read. Living about 30 minutes from the book's location (Black Mountain, NC), we've had several opportunities to meet and speak with the author, who is a very interesting and entertaining man.

Re: Civil Unrest in UK - Another Country Fed Up?

Relax. I see no "political judgements" here. Information is obviously posted for the facts that unrest can and does strike anywhere. As always, you are free to make your own judgements about the situation. Looks like you are trying to ramp this thread up, so take it down a notch or two, OK? Let's ke...

Re: Pickle buckets from Firehouse Subs

Yeah, the Mrs. and I picked up a Firehouse Subs pickle bucket months ago. It stunk up the yard for weeks (we left it outside to see if nature would lessen the smell-not so much)..... I'd avoid these buckets...

Nice! Is this a "secret room"? This is full of win, but I'd also be afraid if someone could come along and easily steal all my stuff (Conveniently packed for them).

Re: Could the Aftermath of Chilean Earthquake be a PAW Preview?

I believe that you are right. Chile is more culturally in line with the US than Haiti is, so it's disturbing that the Chilean government seems unable to control the violent roaming mobs.......

Re: gun safe

It may not be the best, but the Mrs. and I found that Dicks Sporting Goods had the best safe prices in our area by far. We got a Field & Stream that was on sale for about $200 off the original price (they are always having sales). My wife then talked to the Manager and worked a deal to get another ...
