My first gun was a Stevens model 70 pump .22. though i did not shoot it much my DAD and uncle
broke the firing pin and never got fixed, but about two years later i was 10 i think DAD got me a brand new remington model 541? single shoot .22 for chrismass. i was one gratful 10 year old.

the gov. made tons of steel cased ammo in ww2 i got a couple of boxes of .45 acp back in about 1978. it shoot just fine and loaded good to. a lot of guys said it would tear up my guns, but i had no problem at all. now it would cost to much to import all that steel.

it seems i a little late with this post but here it goes i would highly recommend lee molds and casting stuff. their mold are very well made and back in the day i would cast 500 150 gr. 38's in one setting. i used .30/110gr. .38/150gr. 9mm/125gr. .45/200gr. .4570/450gr. liked them all. also get a go...

don't let Bill Jorden,Elmer Keath,Col. Adkins,Sketter Skelton or Me, find out that we have been at a disadvantage all these years. All of these men passed away of nateral causes(ecept for me yet)
All were pro gunfighters. Even Jeff Cooper carried a wheelgun sometimes.

this maybe not the right place to post this, but does anyone know of a class for ccw that is during the week like monday and tuesday in the canton,akron area all i can find are on the weekends and i work them. thanks the old colt guy

back 1972 i bought a ar7 by armalite was one of best little plinkers i ever own. it got banged around in my car for years. i would take it out put it together and it allways worked. i wish i had it back again.

you can't beat a good (COLT) wheelgun it'll do what you want any time you want and all they ask for is a little cleaning and love

i powder coated a AMT lighting that was stainless (the frist owner use steel wool on it and mess it up bad) I was working with powder coat at the time and it came out realy nice. 5K rounds and
still looked good when i sold it. a lot of guys at my club were going to give it a try
