Re: My experience with military rations
Yeah MREs are not very good, haha! I do like their comparative light weight and low "trash factor" compared to the canned rations. I wish you could get the Polish W-Rations over here, they look like a great MRE upgrade. Condensed milk tube is also a great thing, I think some more modern Russian rati...

Re: Price of Ammo
Problem is I need Remington Golden Bullets :( The Advantage Arms slide was easy enough to feed when I could find those, but it won't cycle other shit and now I can't even use it. Weird. Golden bullets are the only thing I've tried that my AA 17-22 kit won't cycle. Got some other suggestions for me?...

Re: The All Purpose AK Thread
Greetings all! So, I'm extremely new to the AK world. My AK is a WASR-10 that I picked up last November... and I haven't even fired it yet. *hangs head in shame* Anyway, I'm thinking of putting my Trijicon RMR on it via this MI AK mini dot mount . What do y'all think about that kind of setup? Feedb...

Re: AAR - carrying the G26
I'm 125+/- lbs and have a 28-30" waist and I regularly carry a Glock 17 with the Blade Tech Phantom and can conceal it with just a t-shirt. I'm sure the 26 is easy to carry but that doesn't mean you have to leave the 17 at home either. With stiff belt and a good IWB holster you can carry a lot more...

Re: Post your load-bearing/chest rig/molle vest
I know we don't have a dedicated load bearing gear chat thread, so I figured this might be the closest thread. I'm looking for a grey admin or small utility pouch and a grey hydration carrier. Sadly Blue Force Gear, HSGI, don't offer these items in grey. I guess I should go look at Maxipadition? I ...

Re: Kel Tec Sub 2000 9mm Carbine
Try finding a Sub-2000. They are really hard to get now. I did have one in .40 that was really fun to shoot, sold it, might pick one in 9mm up if I ever find one again for a reasonable price. And over $400 is not reasonable. Fun little carbine, IMO it's the only PCC that actually makes sense.

Unless you are hunting birds the carbine does everything and more. I am selling my shotgun since I have no use for it and I don't like to shoot it.
