Re: Pistol Caliber SBR / PDW / SMG Brain Storming

The box I'm looking at is roughly 17” L x 6 ½” W x 3 5/16” H That's a tight fit. Measuring some of mine it looks like the KRISS will be too high folded (just over 4"). A 5" 9mm AR SBR with a PDW stock should work, but I don't know how the PDW stocks may impact performance. Hard for me to measure ca...

Re: Why do I do this to myself? Considering going (back) to

Bro-sto makes a threaded 9mm conversion barrel for the P229. Doesn't Lone Wolf make one as well or do they just make Glock conversion barrels ? Last time I checked lone wolf only made glock parts/barrels. I'll likely go that route, getting an Osprey or similar. I really don't see getting back into ...

Re: 22lr 9mm multi cal suppressor suggestions?

You'll likely want a specialized .22 and 5.56 down the road. But the Liberty mystic is an excellent 9mm can that is user serviceable for .22 won't break the bank and can handle a 5.56 out of a 16" barrel. I have the old mystic, now they have a newer X model. http://libertycans.net/mystic-x/ The sile...

Re: Concealed carry bag

I think a lot of this depends on your area. When I see any OD, FDE, MOLLE guitar, tennis/racket ball bag carried by someone not in tennis gear/without another gym bag or a Fanny pack I assume they're carrying. Those 5.11 covert-ish bags worked for a while but now are well known by gun folk. Get a ob...

Re: Oil Filter Suppressor?

That's cool stuff. I'm guessing a different price point than the .22 cans, but very cool. My Sparrow was about $275, so yeah its a little bit more expensive, but its lighter than an oil can filter, even though its made out of stainless. And it comes apart completely, and has a clamshell liner aroun...

My thoughts exactly.

If the size of the G19 is preventing you from carrying it get the G26, if your carrying the G19 without issue get the G34.

Apologizes. I'm 99% sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

If you're building an SBR (AR) with a rail that extends beyond the barrel, do you measure the length to the end of the barrel or rail? Thanks

Just right carbine, apparently makes a 45 version as well. http://www.justrightcarbines.com should be easy enough to cut the barrel down.

But, quick google search shows some people having issues with them.

Re: RONI conversion, Kriss or ??

Too bad about DDLES, I've been meaning to research a 10mm AR pistol/SBR.

I didn't know you could remove the barrel shroud of the RONI, that makes sense. Still no osprey.

Re: RONI conversion, Kriss or ??

If you're set on a 45 ACP SBR that takes G21 mags, another option is the Double Diamond Law Enforcement Supply large frame glock AR lower. http://www.shop.doublediamondsupply.com/AR15-Glock-Large-Frame-Mag-Lower-Receiver-DDARFL.htm . I have no experience with the DDLES or RONI. At a quick glance it ...

Re: Suppressor or Middy for Max?

I too needed no changes to my ARs (other than the mounts) to run reliably suppressed. I have an 11.5" SBR, 16" mid length and 20" I'm using an AAC 762SDN6 and Mini4. No noticeable gas blowing in my face. Though they do get pretty fucking filthy. I agree suppressed ARs are underwhelming for the shoot...

Re: Suppressor or Middy for Max?

I appreciate the advice, all. Still up in the air, but definitely food for though. I never thought about having a .45 suppressor and being able to put it on other caliber pistols. Do you just have to buy an adapter that screws on the end of your .40 or 9mm barrel to get the .45 can to fit? You got ...

What are peoples experiences with the 1.5x mini ACOGs? I'm considering one for a PS90. With the poorer iron sights on the PS90, I was thinking something without batteries might be a good way to go.
