Re: Appleseeds, experiences and questions

Great stuff all. My gear advice to anyone going: 1) get a Ruger 10/22 and put Tech Sights on it http://www.tech-sights.com/ 2) add a volquarsten extractor, auto bolt release and extended mag release https://www.volquartsen.com/category/16-action-trigger-components/1-all 3) make sure you have sling s...

Re: AR? AK? How About A M1A?

All good advice. I'll add one more: Go buy "Boston's Gun Bible" by Boston T Party. Read it. Boston does head to head comparisons on everything. Save your money and learn from someone that has laready spent theirs on the weighted comparisons and then go shoot a few with friends. See what blows up you...

Re: Appleseeds, experiences and questions

You cannot afford NOT to attend an Appleseed and soon. If you participate in this site or forum you owe it to yourself to challenge yourself to learn and shoot better. Over the course of 2 days I saw my groups tighten up considerably. On the first day I shot a 168! My last AQT I shot a 208! But some...

Another FNG from the 'burbs of Atlanta

Howdy all. How did I stumble across this place? Wow. Pull up a seat. I read "Patriots: A story of Survival in the coming Collapse" some time ago and have been stocking up for about 6 months. A few months ago I discovered Army/Navy Surplus and started building a BOB. I was on a business trip and wand...
