Re: Bug Out Gear Deals (Post 'em when you find 'em) I

I was at my local Target yesterday. ALL Camelbak bottles were on clearance over in the camping/exercise section. Picked up a couple .75 liter Better Bottles for less than $7/each.

Re: low price get back home guns.

Hi Point .45, got used for $120. Love this gun, ya its ugly, ya its heavy, ya hi point is a cheep, ugly gun. But it shoots straight, and im a dam good shoot with it. Plus its like 3+ pounds so I could club the hell out off a zombie. Say what you want about hi point, but I like them. Down side, its ...

I don't have much, but I've got a couple things y'all can have.
(1) Mossberg 500 factory stock - black synthetic
(1) ATI Speedfeed stock for Remington 870 - not a pistol grip
(1) AR barrel nut from PSA

Re: Just put a Marlin 36A in jail.

there is something about nice lever rifles that just screams classy. that sir, is one classy gun. I was hoping that when I hold it, the classiness of the rifle, and my lack of class, would balance each other out. IMHO, these are probably the best lever guns in .30-30 available. And a late 40"...

Thank you. I pick this guy up on Sunday at 2:40 pm. I'm hoping to make it out to the range and try it out by 3:30. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just put a Marlin 36A in jail.

I just got back from a local pawn shop. They had a Marlin 36A on the shelf. Needless to say, I bought it along with a beat-up 1940 Izzy Mosin. The Marlin is chambered in .30-30 and was manufactured in 1947 (SN D88...). This thing is in AWESOME shape. No pitting, rust, dings or scratches or cracks. N...

Re: Anyone have a full size M&P in .40 or .45?

I have an M&P 9 and my g/f has a .40. Her 40 is what made me want an M&P. I agree that .40 can be snappy, but I noticed it less in her M&P than in other .40s. She wants a 9mm barrel for cheaper target practice and then convert back to .40 for HD. As for .45, I will not own a gun chambered for .45 un...

Re: Experiences with Bravo Company Manufacturing

I've got a BCM blemished upper and a Gunfighter charging handle. This is sitting on a PSA lower with PSA parts kit, a DD BCG, and a PSA barrel. Both BCM parts work for me. Their shipping time is outrageously fast. I'm also in the build your own group. I chose to build my own complete rifle so I woul...

Re: WTF Rifle of the Month *Open to all kinds of guns now*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYQJUuX4T1Q Hell yeah, I just found a new project. But I'm going to make the trigger the switch. Now, to find an airsoft gun to use. I'd give it the FAMAS esque charging handle in the carry handle of some of the early M16's and make that the switch. But that's me. And...

I'm going to go against the grain here and say the OP doesn't need a gun of any flavor, yet. The OP states he has a family, doesn't have very much money, and doesn't have a BOB in place. What about the rest of your preps? Anything? I'd take what little money I'd be spending on a gun and make sure th...

Over on Calguns, there are two mail order places that people like. Freedom, and Jack Ross. Since Jack Ross is so backed up right now (not even taking orders for 9mm reloads, they're months behind), a lot more people are ordering from Freedom. By most accounts, they're g2g, even the blaster training ...

Sports grip tape.

Also, for your project, look into spray on bedliner in a rattlecan. Not real rough. Almost like a spray paint with some sand in it.

Re: I present to ZS my first AR-15 (w/ pics)

That is a LONG barrel... How does it balance? If it feels muzzle-heavy, I might just go with a fixed stock and load some heavy stuff into the cleaning kit compartment, or get some saddlebags so your weight is better centered over your pistol grip. That's just personal preference, though. It's not t...
