Re: where would you take shelter if zombies attacked?

Lets see where would I go... I'll have to answer in a moment I think I heard a kitty cat downstairs. Funny we don't have a cat. I'll just grab this cheap candle I got from the dollar store and go down and check. To bad the lights don't work well. They did supposedly kill that hokey-mask wearing guy ...

Re: 7 bullets

Sorry to any reading and caught up in this. My computer took a crash a year ago and I've been nursing it along since. Well since the last update the gremlins finally did the deed and its a goner. Getting a new computer though took a backseat to finishing the basement and moving my man cave and wife'...

Re: Deadliest Warrior - Zombies vs. Vampires

Looked up Season 3's Deadliest warrior match ups and no zombies vs vamps. Think it is a joke.

I agree with most in that the zombies would not win and not win handily. Even the infected type.

Re: Rambling tangent/Gideon County Zombies Squad

when I write this kinda wandering mental stuff, it means that I'm stuck deep inside one of my stories and am still shaking it off. It's cause I write in a kinda brain dump onto the screen and it's got very little filter between the brain and the fingers. Had me chuckle a bit there. I do the same th...

Re: 7 bullets

Wahoo!!! Eta: just finished reading it. We got another bullet. What are we up to now, total? I know he's used two or three. It's hard to remember when I take such long breaks in the story. Awesome, keep up the good work. Ya I know long breaks. Total now is 5. One from the original hotel. One that w...

Re: What do wounds feel like?

Gunshot wound. 5 00 Buckshot off a ricochete in left leg at 15. Had to walk about 1 1/2 to 2 miles out my buddy who did it had to carry the shotguns. No real pain felt like someone slapped my knee. After effect I played basketball (happened during season) on it within a day or two. Probably depends ...

Chapter 10 Part 12 The group stood around looking at the maps. Johnson was the first to speak after Jason laid everything out for them. “Are you certain about this Jason?” “Yep, certain as I can be.” There was muttering by most. “Ok, then we have to increase the height and strength of our walls.” J...

Re: Article for legalization of suppressors in our state

No shit? A Dem gov signed a silencer bill? I hear music, and the sky is parting ... Yep it is signed. From what I understand it will be legal 90 days after the session ends (to shoot). Should put the date around the 23rd or 24th of July. There is going to be a suppressor shoot at the Kitsap Range o...

Re: The Meeting

Good start and better yet, a soild Zombie hook for the story. I would suggest using the term "being" vice 'man' for The Four as you later seem to be here on earth and it seems confusing - which group are Men? For fun you could have sound of hoofbeats in the background as each of the beings arrive f...

The Meeting

So I've been thinking of this short one for awhile and decided to just type it out and see how it sounds. Figured the question of where zombies come from with a twist. This is only a one quick short story no updates. The Meeting The table was circular in and made of polished granite. There are four ...

Interview 5 B Jason saw the movement out in front of him about 500 yards away. Quickly he took up a kneeling position with the 30-06 supporting his forward elbow on his knee. Sighting through the scope he gauged how high and forward to hold as it moved left to right. Controlling his breathing he sq...

Re: Article for legalization of suppressors in our state

From my understanding SB5112 is in the rules committe. However, if it does not get voted out by the 7th then it is dead for the year. Though HB1016 has to go through the entire process by April 28th. I suggest contacting your senators about SB5112. Especially if they are on the Rules comittee and as...

Re: Article for legalization of suppressors in our state

Found out that today SB 5112 the companion senate bill just passed out of committe. All yas and recomendation "do pass" from the executive committee. One person that watched it stated that Senator Kline stated, "this will bring state law in compliance with federal law." Should pass the senate from w...

Watched it. While I'm not up to speed on machining firearms or gunsmithing I did like the flame thrower. The one complaint like others have stated is lack of talking about the actual paperwork involved. Though they did somewhat talk about the SBS the guy wanted to buy in that the paperwork would tak...

Re: Article for legalization of suppressors in our state

HB 1016 is passed out of judicary committee now it languishes in the rules committee. SB 5112 had its public hearing on Jan 26th. Both of these had their public meetings and no one in oposition showed up. WACOPS is supporting the bills as is. Randb on northwestfirearms.com has been the one pushing t...

The bill had its senate meeting yesterday. Like the house meeting the senate meeting did not have anyone in oposition sign up to speak. From what I understand it seems a sure pass in the house. The senate is questionable though. Senator Kline is supposedly on the fence while Senator Roach supposedly...

Washington Silencer Use Bill.

Don't know if this is a double post or not. So go ahead and delete if it is. HB 1016 was given a meeting about a week ago that would allow the use of suppressors in Washington State. The current law allows the purchase but it is illegal to use. WACOPS has decided to support the bill. From what I und...

Re: Switching to HK from Glock

I have a USP 9 love the gun and carry it concealed most of the year. You have to dress around it to carry it. 7 months out of the year easy enough I wear a Carnhart jacket that conceals it either with a shoulder or tuck holster. Good enough for me and other than a few LEO's or gunshop owners no one ...
