Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

I had a really dumb thought flash through my brain a minute ago. Y'all know the Magnum Research BFR revolvers, right ? I wonder if anyone has ever thought to have one chambered in something like 7.62x39. Now this probably wouldn't work considering the 7.62x39 is kind of tapered and all of the chamb...

Remington doesn't make a polymer frame Wonder 9 (at least, I don't think they do), and certainly not one that's any threat to Glock, or even S&W Remington started making the RP9 and RP45 pistols a few years ago. The reviews I read weren't very favorable. When they first came out, the street price w...

Make some suggestions? Money's pretty tight, but obviously not so tight I can't look around for a deal. Let's set a budget of $750 .
Is that budget in Canadian or U.S. dollars?

Built my first AR10, apparently I didn’t read enough about these lil bastards. There are like 3 standards out there. Luckily most seem to be in the lower and not the rest of the platform. PSA upper, can’t remember bbl, wish guard, Areo lower, BCM bolt carrier, knock off charging handle, and PSA low...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

That costs more than some 10-22 models. The AR version costs more than some ARs. I think they have a pretty high profit margin on those triggers because anyone with enough money to burn that much ammo has enough money to spend big bucks on the trigger too. Yeah, the price of that binary trigger is ...

Re: Do you like old guns but are interested in an AR?

I guess I should let you in on a secret. Springfield (the old one not the new one) is probably the maker of pic #2. I can't verify it but there were these type of rifles sold by old Springfield in the 60's. I have seen ads in old gun magazines. They were hoping to sell them as a hunting rifle hence...

We have the term "Bubba" when it comes to things like someone slapping a Tapco stock on an SKS, but what would be the term to describe this abomination?

I believe that would be a "Glam" gun....though, not to be confused with a "BBQ" gun. :ooh:

Re: Do you like old guns but are interested in an AR?

I think they're gorgeous, but I'm not understanding that second (reciprocating?) charging handle on the left side of the chromed upper receiver. I don't know for sure that is in the picture, but some people make straight pull bolt action ARs for ban-countries, ban-states, and shooting suppressed. I...

Watched the first couple episodes of "Reality Z"....It's darn near a shot-for-shot remake of "Dead Set", the 2008 British zombie mini-series that takes place on the British "Big Brother" set.

Both series available on Netflix.
