Re: Colonial Pipeline cyber attack

Someone please tell me this advice is just some .gov nannyemployee being a nanny on twitter and that no one would be that stupid... https://www.foxbusiness.com/lifestyle/govt-warning-to-gas-hoarders "Do not fill plastic bags with gasoline," the agency warned in a Twitter thread. Please?! BTW appare...

Re: Romanian PSL in 7.62x64r

I still want a PSL, but I may have missed the boat on owning one.

I should've grabbed one back when they were under 800 bucks, but it just wasn't in my cards at that point and now they cost about as much as my first truck did.

Not sure where you'd see the second one with the insanely long grip, though.
Robert Oberst special!
Either him or maybe Brian Shaw. Both guys are just massive enough to make the super long gripped Glock look almost normal.

In the hand of someone with 7 fingers?
I was thinking maybe if Andre the Giant was still alive (and if he was a gun guy), it might just be large enough for him.

The first pistol looks like something you'd find in one of the "Borderlands" video games. Not sure where you'd see the second one with the insanely long grip, though. Probably Brandon Herrera's or Gaston Glock's nightmares. Well, it make an appearance on Brandon's cursed gun images yesterday....

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Thank you ATF! May I please have another?]

I've never actually handled any Manurhin guns. Only French guns I've actually had hands on were an old Lebel rifle and I think a Chassepot (Could've been a Berthier) that a pawn shop had labeled as a Mauser. Had I known how valuable either rifle was, I'd have paid the 200 bucks the pawn shop wanted ...

I joked that if it has the misfortune to fall in Texas, it'll probably get turned into a BBQ pit.
And now I'm curious if all the pieces of Space Shuttle Columbia got picked up by NASA or if there's some unaccounted piece out there that's now part of some BBQ pit somewhere.

That'd be messed up.

If not, go to YouTube and check it out.

Just started The Outer Worlds, and so far its...decent. Story's OK, there's a lot of little things going on that flesh out the world, but the enemies quickly just turn into bullet sponges. I've been wanting to get that game, but I just haven't done so yet. As for enemies being bullet sponges, the e...

Re: What are you playing?

Recently picked up "Just Cause 4" on clearance at Walmart for 15 bucks. They had two copies left, so I picked up one for myself and the other for my oldest nephew. Installed it on my Xbox One awhile ago and hopped right into it. And promptly got reminded just how frustrating this damn game series ca...

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, sorry to hear about your boating accident!]

Man, I skipped the 16 inch optics ready carbine and went straight to 16 inch budget build instead. Although since I didn't actually build it, I suppose it may not count. Closest thing to building I've done on my AR is swapping the grip, putting in a different buffer and spring, swap the stock ...

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, sorry to hear about your boating accident!]

I used to not like Glocks as well. Something about the Gen 3 grips just didn't feel right to me, but then the Gen 4 models came out and the grips felt different. Like they fit my hands better or something. I guess that was enough to sway me over to the Glock side and now I've got three of them. :ro...

In these trying times, i wish that I could still grab a beer and share an order of fried pickles with him, so that he could puke in the passenger floorboard in repayment for my picking up his check, and staying sober enough to drive him home. I even bought a car without carpet so I could just hose ...

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, sorry to hear about your boating accident!]

It would be just my luck that after I buy a 1911 that a bunch of them pop up for sale local to me on Armslist. Oh well, I've got my Tisas 1911 and I'm happy with it. But doesn't it get lonely while you're away? It needs another 1911 to keep it company. Good think a bunch of them just popped ...

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, sorry to hear about your boating accident!]

I'm mostly done with mine! I'm planning to replace the buttstock, but waiting to see hands-on reviews of the Magpul PRS Lite. Mostly because I'm moved on to pointlessly pimping my 6.5 Creedmoor. And maybe building a .22 precision rifle. That's why I got an AR. Because I figured I'd gone as f...

I'm sort of "finished" with my AR, but that's mostly because I don't have the money to get the other upgrades I want.

Which basically means another upper (Damn you, PSA and your daily emails with uppers in the configuration I want. ) and maybe a higher quality optic.

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, sorry to hear about your boating accident!]

After watching a couple WhistlinDiesel's videos, I have to wonder just how in the hell he survived childhood. Also, why did he think that shooting steel with a .50 BMG at less than a foot away was a good idea ? It's like he watched a couple FPSRussia videos and went "I can do that and make it even ...

a lot less stuped than Whistlindiesel's injury (shot steel place at less than a foot with .50 BMG). lucky to have survived it. also to have caught the 50 projectile in the fire hydrant.
