Re: Cooper; new stuff added 10/03/2018

Hell... in the Cooper World, I could come up with several topics for you to flesh out: What about more adventures of Tinker Bob so we can find out how the rest of the general area is fairing..... Another view of life in the village with the Mayor and his daughter who passed.... Ranch life with Heidi...

Re: Cooper; new stuff added 10/03/2018

Doc - don't be afraid to just port over The Mountain as it sits as it is topic even today. I know many on this site will love it.... but it does need more finish....... hint. I am looking forward to more Cooper World stories on the topics you suggested might be forthcoming. If I could suggest one, i...

Re: Cooper; new stuff added 10/03/2018

I really wonder why you have not published the Cooper World stories. They really are better than 95% of what is currently being offered in the market. But I am a fan of "The Mountain" Story and think you should bring that one over to this site and maybe finish it...… Really enjoyed the origin of how...

Doc..... you did mention that you were working on three different Cooper related stories and finished the above great adventure first and posted it.

The Cooper world is awesome...… any update on either of the other two stories? Really looking forward to them!

Re: Cooper; new stuff added 08/29/2018

Awesome sub story in the greater Cooper world. I like how the "bad guys" don't have to be nomadic apocalyptic crime lords out to take over entire towns and are more believable as they reflect the type of characters I would expect in the story line being displayed... again just awesome. I am looking ...

While, I have really enjoyed Hannah, Owen, Cole and Jesse in the zombie changed world, your Cooper stories are the most excellent. I like the world you have created with all of the normal dangers of temporary stove piping to motorcycle gangs wanting control of the local area an dhow the locals all w...

Re: Several must read SCi-fi based Apocalyptic novels

Deep Winter Series by Tom Sherry. Good stories on after affect of earthquake that initially happens in January and not summer like most stories so it gives people an easier time to react. Available on Amazon and also on his blog https://www.amazon.com/Deep-Winter-Thomas-Sherry/dp/0615154417 http://d...

Another interesting post-apoc series with no zombies is the "world Made by Hand" series by James Kunstler.

Re: Single Stack 9 mm Striker mid to full size less than $40

Beretta Nano. Great pistol. I really like the one I have. Slightly heavier than my buddy's Glock 43, but seems to shoot better as it absorbs the recoil better. Easy to find under $400 and comes with 2 magazines. I like the smooth profile and simplicity of this pistol. Seems to come out of my pocket ...

Airship story - The Flying Cloud

In response to TacAir's two recent posts that gave me two new sites to displace considerable time to, I offer a similar site of text and animation for a story of Airships, post WWI timeframe and a very interesting story... set aside some time when you start this story:

I followed this too and glad to see the system actually worked where the FFL, BATF and customer were all in the right. Not all FFL holders are gunsmiths so I am not surprised he called the BATf to protect his business. Especially since this year has been so trying with the media and over-reporting w...

Re: Help me compile a shotshell conversion tool kit

There are some good video on Youtube showing the roll crimping onto converted slugs from birdshot. You need the $32 BPI roll crimper to add to your tool set and some easy way to spin it. Drill motor usually. Basically trim the shell case down flat just above the slug face (~1/8"+). Easiest way is to...

Re: Went to the "Gun Show"

Largest gun show in Vermont is next weekend in Barre, VT at the Auditorium. Pretty good and quite crowded. There are a few deals, but you've really got to look.

Auditorium: Barre Fish & Game Club Gun Show, February 4, 2012 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and February 5, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Here is one recent news blurb on the Korean M1 and M1 carbine situation. LOTS of M1 Carbines! A pair of those would be my choice...... but looks like 87,000 M1s may have been approved. Can they really be selling for $220? Hell, the importer will sell out in 1 day! http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/new...

Re: Trading my Tundra for a midsize SUV, halp me choose

Trade for a new double cab 4x4 Tundra. Gives you the best of all of what you are looking for: "OK" mileage, 4x4, double cab, comfortable highway miles and you already like the
Tundra.....

I have 185,000 on my 2006 Tundra 4x4 and have had nothing break yet. Only done routine maint and tires.

Re: Cold Steel finally made a Gladius!

Well, I had not tried to order the gladius from the site yet, but assumed it was in stock. I'm always up for a bargain, but would rather pay $3-8 more on a roughly $28 item and get it asap. Seems like I always find the baragain and then spring for the 2nd day air to get it quicker! The short sax is ...
