Re: Vermont Members

Not really. I don't drive much these days. I'd hit the train to burlington if there was something cool going on some weekend. Do you know any events? Tradeshows? ect?

Re: Vermont Members

Right on, you are way up there. Bellows Falls does the Old Homes Days Festival with vendors, rides, games, showmen and women, and fireworks in August. Springfield does the Steam Punk Festival in September. This year will be my first time going so I'm not sure what to expect. As you can probably tell...

I've watched Fury Road in the cinema 3 times now. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Who else has watched it and what did you think?

Re: Fear The Walking Dead

Six episodes? I'll probably skip it when it first airs then binge one day when I'm inside all day anyways. I might watch the first one. I think a lot of people will end up doing the same.

Re: Fear The Walking Dead

I'll give it a watch.
I gave up on the walking dead half way through the last season. With those big ass breaks its hard to stay interested and remember the whole story and theirs so much TV that is worth watching these days and so little time to watch.
I hope this show will be awesome.

Re: Game of Thrones HBO; All Seasons with Spoilers

Season 5 Episode 8 "Hardhome" Battle of the Blackwater has nothing on this. Not quite what happens in the book because Jon Snow was at Hardhome, not Cotter Pike. Valyrian steel works as well as Dragonglass. Who knew? http://photos.vanityfair.com/2015/06/01/556bb676378caf0d670e4d50_jon-snow-white-wa...

I hate to ask but could you have been limp wristing? I've used factory glock 33 and 22 round mags in both glock 26s and 27s and the factory mags I've used always work to glock perfection.

Re: You're a patron at McDonalds and this happens

If I was at McDonalds? No idea. Probably just get up and leave, if police needed a statement or some such I'm sure I would read it in the news paper later and go from there. If I was at Taco Bell on the other hand. I would hold my ground and fight to my last dying breath to keep the place safe and o...

Re: 7 Worst Rookie Prepper Mistakes

It took me some time to fully understand that while killing my own food can be done. I can't shoot the river and make clean water :? Texas Parks and Wildlife says there are 3.3 million deer in the state. Wiki says there are 26 million people. The competition for those deer is going to be fierce and...

Re: 7 Worst Rookie Prepper Mistakes

I'm surprised that being incredibly lopsided in terms of preps didn't make the list. For instance having enough guns, ammo and mags to arm an infantry platoon, but not enough food and water for your family to make it a month. That seems to come up quite a bit for newbie preppers and be a recurring ...

Re: Dead City by Joe McKinney

I got 120 pages in and thats enough for me. I did not like it. I could care less about some cop who wants to bail on the citizens and run home to his wife and kid. I have no wife, no kid, and I rarely see eye to eye with law enforcement. This is clearly not the series for me. Interesting viewpoint,...

I'm alone in bed. Safe to say I wouldn't have to pick between my best mate and my girlfriend, because there is no girlfriend. If we're talking in the past, one of my ex's... clearly the answer is the same. Pick my best mate. If we're talking some future girlfriend.. chances are she's much like the ...

I wish somebody would invent a "brass magnet." Have you tried one of these? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0MqEWW3L8c One of the smartest handiest inventions I have ever purchased. I always leave the range better than it looks, which used to take up to a half hour. Now I'm feeling good after like ...

I enjoyed it. However I didn't watch it to learn how NatGeo thought would be best for me to survive a disaster. I knew it wasn't going to be a show teaching much of anything. Sure enough I didn't learn anything I didn't already know from a more serious approach in studying up on survival. NatGeo wil...

Its brutal now that its a mid season break. I now have nothing to look forward to until February. Time is dragging on so freaking slow that I think my clocks died.
