I think Tater's recommendations covers everything I would have mentioned as far as logistics. A few travel tips not mentioned. 1. Second question answered first, I'd do the next scheduled maintenance on it just before I left on the trip and do another upon return. An inverter (like NWDub suggested), a USB charger with 2 outlets and 2 USB to Phone cords would be nice, along with place to put the phones that is out of the way b...

it is a 2006 ford freestyle, in fantastic condition. it is nice and inconspicious and gets surprisingly high gas mileage with a good sound system. by the time the trip comes around, itll have summer tires on.

re. confetti poppers, say you leave your chosen perimeter, you could string those confetti poppers on a trip line across the logical entry and exit points of the perimeter so that when you come back you will know that someone or something breached your perimeter, and you would have forewarning.

hey follow up question i have really big hands for my body (5'11 - 170 ish) and it really bothers me when a pocket knife doesn't have a beefy enough handle, what is the handle profile like on the knife, i see it in pictures but it isnt really enough to tell from just that.
