Re: Cerakote Zippo

Cerakote headquarters in White City Oregon is where I sent it. I contacted them through the website to ask them if they did lighters and how much it would be because I couldn't find anyone local to take it too, the nearest one is like 200 miles away and he isn't even a certified applicator. The guy...

Re: the "ventilator" aka tactical straw well executed :)

Not sure if it's from the same maker but I saw one of these a long time ago, not exactly sure where but I remembered they were marketed as "tactical tire punches" but that they could be used as last ditch weapons. It's neat but never had an application that I would find one useful in.

Re: Zippo vs. IMCO windproof lighters: 10 year review

Great review man. I loved my Zippo and it's been anywhere and everywhere I've set foot in for the past 5 years until I left it at an ex girlfriend's place while we were still together than we broke up. I'm still kicking myself over that, I'm gonna get another but I was attached to that one. :(

Re: Critcal Duty, New Hornady Ammo

Hm, I knew they had some primer issues early in production, but I've put several hundred of them through my CZ 9mm without issues. I've also put 200 38+p through my Taurus snubby. I haven't had any problems with them. Haven't had any trouble with the .38+Ps either though I only put a box of 25 thro...

I would say no. Though I once considered rappelling from a 3rd story balcony with some 550 cord when an ex of mine went ape shit on me and I couldn't leave by conventional means.

Re: Help me set up my 870!!

If you wanna attach a light I'd recommend the Streamlight mount. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/754094/streamlight-tactical-mount-remington-870" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Easy to mount and it's held up through light birdshot to magnum slugs no problem. Another option you may co...

Re: Single point sling idea

I personally just made a convertible 1 to 2 point sling out of Paracord along the same lines as Magpul's MS2 sling. Though the one I have in the picture is a prototype I made for my .22. I plan on making a heavier duty one for my AMD and 870. http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/vv296/Lionheart47/Para...

Re: Condoms?

They'd only be worthwhile to fill with water from a faucet. Filling from a lake or river, you would only get about a penis' worth of water in a condom. Right? No, blow the condom up with a little bit of air first, then submerge it. The water will rush in and the bubbles will come out. Blow some mor...

I carry one in mine that I got at Walmart plus spare bands. Nothing fancy or special and I'm far from a master but if I ever need a small game getter it would certainly suffice.

Re: Mexico becoming a failed state?

The Mexico Drug Wars remind me of an extended Bosnia, except there is no UN helping Mexico. Mass graves, guerilla fighting in urban settings, random killings, the only thing missing is the ethnic motive which is replaced by drugs and power. Actually there have been stories coming out of the central...

I've been behind a shotgun longer than any kind of carbine so while my AMD is nice and handy I feel more confident in using my shotgun for HD.
