Re: WORLD OF WARCRAFT: ZOMBIE SQUAD GUILD!

Eh, I've lost interest in WoW yet again. This time it didn't take me as long as last time. I think I may finally be rubberbanding towards quitting entirely. I think the most enjoyable parts of WoW for me are PvP, exploring new zones/lore content, and watching my character develop as he or she levels...

Re: WORLD OF WARCRAFT: ZOMBIE SQUAD GUILD!

Yeah, that's it as far as I can tell. So Iunno that it's really worth the extra XP to dump the heirlooms onto an alt and server transfer them. With as little as I tend to play, I could probably just float the rested XP and not really notice the difference. Oh well... If you're planning on taking an...

Re: Mexico becoming a failed state?

I'm sure several of our current and former military members would prefer not to be called "peckerneck." Eh, I don't really care either way, lol. A civilian can't relate no matter how many stories you tell him. Even a military spouse can't, not 100%. It takes personal experience. And anyway, I've re...

Re: WORLD OF WARCRAFT: ZOMBIE SQUAD GUILD!

I have returned. During my prolonged absence from the forums here I've accumulated a lot more WoWishness. Currently have 3 80's ( Druid / Mage / Paladin ) on Wildhammer - Horde. Druid's geared about as high as he can go before Cata comes out, Mage is getting up there, Pally just made 80 a ...

you might want to think twice--not just for swine flu but for the regular yearly flu. It's not that I think you're wrong about your resistance to the flu--odds are you'll come through it with a few days of rest--but there are other people who might not be fine if you expose them in the time after y...

Re: Would you voluntarily take the H1N1 Vaccine?

I haven't been ill since basic training (over four years ago). I trust my immune system. Swine Flu has killed less people per year GLOBALLY than the "ordinary" seven or so strains of influenza that pop up every year in AMERICA ALONE. It's mass hysteria, overblown, a non-issue, whatever you want to c...

Re: WORLD OF WARCRAFT: ZOMBIE SQUAD GUILD!

I play mostly on Boulderfist now. I'm in a guild run by a friend I've known for years. I just in the last few days logged back on after being gone several months and am already pretty bored with it. I know what the problem is... it's that nothing changes. Same grind, same quests, same slow-ass plod...

Thinking about cancelling my sub as well. It's money I'm effectively not using at this point.

I get all the dungeon-crawling, RPG action I need from nethack (and without all the annoying grinding and dealing with asshat players).

They haven't done KP duty in the Army for years, Hatch Showing your age there. WHAT?! How can you have a decent Army without KP?? That offends my sensibilities. But yeah, I ETS'd almost 15 years ago. I don't qualify for the Old Fart Club quite yet, though. On the running shoes, don't spend a lot of...

Laughing at adversity, of course, DOES NOT apply to Drill Sergeants. Don't laugh at them. We had this one non-Drill E5 Sergeant in Reception at Ft Jackson circa 2005.. He used to march us to chow (for the week we were there before moving into Basic Training proper) and sing cadences to us, mo...

So, much like all the science fiction and even games (see Fallout) that have come before this have postulated..

Those who survived the nukes would just turn into mutated horrors anyway.

Not much of an improvement.

Downtown there are a ton of clubs, in north/northeast Dallas (see Plano, Grapevine) there are oodles of high-end restaurants and other stuff.

There's a Six Flags between Dallas and Fort Worth, but I haven't been there in years.

Stay out of South Dallas. Unless you like being shot.

Is there a train route from Houston to Dallas? Yes. If you don't mind waiting a month and a half. The train system in Texas is verrrrryyyyy slooooooooow. Mainly used for cargo, not moving people. As for whoever said there was nothing to do in Dallas but get out, HEY BUDDY, GO CLIMB A WALL OF MALE G...
