Re: Californians: Help Make Us Official!

Well if the August 8th paperwork doesn't fly MMCM, Nacho and myself can sign since we are all members and meet on occasion.

That scroll needs to be framed and hung on someone's wall....

Re: SoCal Events

I like toecutter's Desertcon idea. I think shooting is definately part of the event. Whether we have a range on site or have to drive a bit works... Anyone care to lock in any dates?

Re: What have you bought in the last 48 hours?

I bought three bags of ice and a case of water so I can work on my fishing skills tomorrow. A buddy says he has this ideal fishing spot at the local lake.

Re: Lets have some fun, I'm running a WWYD-RPG......

Would it be okay for the participants to post a brief version of their character profiles at the bottom of each of their posts. That way I can keep track of who you are and where you are coming from. This looks fun. Will be watching this thread

Re: Self Defense and Rendering First Aid

If I have secured his weapon and the wife has called 911. I would then have her cover the intruder. I'd insure the safety of my family first. Clear the rest of the house. He may have friends going after the silverware. Check the outside for any accomplices without exposing myself if possible. If it ...

Re: SoCal Events

These are some of the ideas we came up with at the camping/charity event plus a few of my own. I like to plan ahead so I can get time off of work and be able to plan things around my family activities. Obviously all this can change depending on what the group actually wants to do. All of our events ...

Re: hope for me and my family?

Check a globe. Turn it to Europe. Look for country shaped vaguely like a boot. Drop your finger on Rome. It's been there a long time. Survived most any type of SHTF you could imagine and then some over the last couple thousand years. Still a city there. Cities are hard to kill. Now turn the globe t...

Probably. They do it in batches to save time. It took a couple months for me to get my card. Didn't help any that I gave them the wrong P.O. Box. Sorry to jack your thread Newb. Re: SoCal Events

I posted a few event ideas and dates, via email, to those who went to the charity campout. Just wondering what you all wanted to do over the next few months as far as organized activities and events. I like to plan ahead in the event I have to request time off.

Re: I need a couple of headlamps for BOB/GHB

get one with the red lense/light. That way if you get drunk and leave it on and are talking through the night, you won't be blinding the people you are talking to.

When I get a headlamp, it will have the red light.
