Re: WWYD: If you had to move countries, where would you go?

Have you ever looked into what you would have to do to move to a different country? Most of them don't just let you in and give you a new passport. If you wanted to move to Switzerland, besides having to know a different language, you really have to bring something to the table that they want. You h...

I used to have one of these. It was a lot of fun and surprisingly accurate.

Hell no.

Also, I thought that it came about as a power saving measure during the depression.

Re: How would you build your future home to withstand anythi

Realistically, I would build the entire structure using styrofoam forms filled with concrete. This provided insane structural integrity and excellent insulation. I built a few houses like this back in the day, and you don't need to win the lottery to afford it.

Re: rilfe accuracy reports

Usually I guess this is the case, but not always. I have done a lot of accuracy testing with mil-surp bolt actions, all with open sights at 100, 200, 300, and even one at 500 yards. Usually the person doing the shooting will specify what optics are used as well as what weapon, ammo, and range.

Rabbit tacos are a favorite of mine. When I lived in the desert I spent time daily on 4X4 trails near my home and would occasionally spot a jackrabbit.

If you test fire black powder in the shop, someone has to sleep there that night to make sure the place doesn't burn down. LOL

Re: DUMBEST F*&@king thing you've ever heard...

You know, there are a lot of subjects about which I'm tangentially interested, but of which I have little direct knowledge. I talk aboiut these subjects, and repeat opinions and anecdotes I've heard. Is it barely possible that, when speaking about these subjects, I sound just as retodded as uninfor...

AR15: You can pick off prairie dogs at 300 meters all day long
AK47: You can pick off a deer pretty easy at 300 meters
Mosin-Nagant: You get out of your truck, see an elk on top of a hill, and realize you really can use iron sights that far.
Really?

Re: Braveheart vs. Zombies?

My money is on the movie. The real question is, what format would beat a zombie most efficiently. DVD, Blu Ray, or my personal favorite, the 2 tape VHS?
