I would expect a couple of grown men to have a little more patience. These things aren't instantaneous. What are you going to do in the PAW when we're back to the man on the horse mail service Rather than randomly post a thread on a forum that sees 1000s of posts a day, try PMing one of the moderato...

I didn't read all of the replies, but an other thing to take a peek at is the rear wheel arches, the back doors, and the rockers for rust holes.

Re: Homemade Water Filters?

The plan is to add a contact solution bottle of clorox to my kit once I build one of these filter systems. The dilemma is what order do you filter and bleach? Do I boil, then bleach, then filter; or do I bleach, then boil, then filter; OR do I filter, then bleach, then boil? So many choices... Any t...

I had also read somewhere that striking a match you should sort of stab the head of the match towards the striker, rather than drag it across the striker backwards because when the match fires, it can burn the striking surface.

Any truth to this?

Single shot is the only down side imho. However with single shot, you dont have to worry about mag capacity laws. It's give and take.

I just wanted to chime back in here and add a few things. Smaller holes with more of them definitely does = more pressure. And that may be why my stove "popped apart" after being used for only a few minutes. (edit to add: the fireball was pretty awesome in the dim morning light and my Ti cup flew pr...

Re: A Question for cold weather campers

Speaking of hydration bladders; I forget who said it, but last year when we were all talking about winter camping a suggestion was made. After drinking from your bladder, blow back into the bite valve before closing it back off to keep water out of the hose and prevent the clogged hose.
