I never played tactics. It's not canon, so that doesn't really bother me. 4 looks like it's gonna be so good, November can't come fast enough.

On the bright side, you took so bloody long you only have a few months to wait for Fallout 4.

You've taken this from a neat idea to full-on baddassery, and it just keeps getting better. Color me super jealous, I'd totally rock that shit.

Re: Awkard moments or negative responses while using your ED
The company I work for has a strict "no firearms on the premises" policy with an addendum that includes [other weapons]. I EDC a pocket knife (a Gerber Freeman folder) and was a little worried about whether or not the management would frown upon it if it was discovered. I was out killing myself on t...

Re: Awkard moments or negative responses while using your ED
I recently relocated to Texas and I've noticed nobody has batted an eyelash at my flashlight, multitool, or even pocket knife. I could get to like it here.

I'm not usually into rap either but I was pleasantly surprised at the content and think it's a great way to introduce a new demographic to the preparation/survival mindset. Also, edited the OP with an actual embed link, thanks nathat!

Wasn't sure where to put this but I saw it and immediately thought of you guys. Enjoy!
Edit: I suck at embedding so you'll just have to click the link.

Re: Need some stuff for my 10/22
For what it's worth, I've never found my extended mag release to get in the way of anything, nor snag and cause lost magazines. YMMV but I've had it on for about ten years with no problems.

Re: Eve Online
Gotta say, best thing I ever did was put hi-sec in my rear view and move out to null. It's simpler out here. No concord, no gate guns, no sec status, no [redacted]s given. You're free to shoot anyone and everyone in the face at will and they can and will reciprocate. Good times.

Re: Eve Online
Sorry, the "terrible" bit is a bit of an in-joke among Eve players. It's quite a bit of fun if you find a good corporation/alliance, but it is pretty awful if you play solo. At any rate, the system requirements aren't really all that taxing, though you may not be able to run it at maximum graphics. ...

So it's not really zombie-related (like, not at all), but I was curious to know if anybody on here actually plays this terrible internet spaceship game?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Quite a few of the quest-breaking bugs appear to have been patched, particularly ones which leave quest items permanently in your inventory, but many bugs yet remain. Those lucky enough to be playing on the PC can work around them with the command console and via certain mods, but those of us stuck ...

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've been playing it since it released and I'm pretty happy with it. I'll refrain from releasing any spoilers, but the new vampire/werewolf content is pretty sweet and the new dragonbone weapons are badass. Also, crossbows are neat and mounted combat is a nice change.
Edit: Also, craftable arrows!

Re: TafkanX's EDC
Update: My EDC recently got a facelift as my venerable Gerber tool was replaced with an SOG Powerlock, the Mini-Maglite was exchanged for a Maglite XL50 and my CRKT was replaced with a Gerber Freeman Guide folding knife (drop point). Pics to follow when I'm feeling less lazy.
