He’s talking about German kits, not Swedish.
Only the Swedish kit comes with stand and alcohol stove.
Also the Swedish kit doesn’t have an inside cup.

Re: What are you playing?

Bought a new laptop so I could play Fall Out 4.
Got all the DLCs with sale on Steam.
Screwed up with spaceship and not sure I want to restart.
When I get tired of playing it, I switch out playing Sims 4 and Sims 3 supernatural.

Why do you call it a Walmart stove?
It's made by UST and you bought it from Walmart.

I buy most of my gear from Walmart but I don't call my Stanley cook set a Walmart cook set.

Re: Unusual Item(s) In Your BOB

May work pretty well on a magnesium bar too. There was a guy that used a rasp or file on a mag bar. Also drilled holes in mag bar to make shavings to put in pill bottles. Saved time in not having to shave bar to make fire in a hurry. I used a file/rasp combo tool that had 4 different sections on it...

Dang, I had hard time killing deathclaws on PC and Xbox 360.
But on one game I did get a enhanced missile launcher out of a lunchbox.

Nope. But you can sell weapons and outfits for 10 cash each.

Re: Fallout Shelter - iOS

I still play this daily, but the frequent crashes are incredibly annoying. I'm talking a crash every few minutes annoying. I get dropped back to iphone menu, just rehit app icon and continue playing. Haven't noticed too much loss of game. But I'm playing three games anyway. I do have some dwellers ...

Re: Fallout Shelter - iOS

It would be really cool if you got to keep raiders' gear after killing them. Some have neat weapons. Also wish you could buy gear. Had several dwellers out for almost a day and they always find same old junk. Radio is calling 24/7. Get cool weapons from lunchboxes which are few. They list neat stuff...

I lost two vaults to radroaches and one to raiders.

Have two or three vaults going at same time.

One vault has 5 dwellers left after roach attack, hard to keep going afterwards.

The bad thing about old threads is that the pic links are usally dead.

On another site, the most mentioned " uncommon item" is...... a condom.
And most say they will use it for water carry.

So you brought back a 5 year old thread?

There was one guy that said he was going to carry water in his mouth, to save him from drinking from water bottle.

Don't think he would have lasted long.

Another guy said he carried Bacos for his shtf food.

YMMV

Re: Esbit stoves at coleman's

Esbit pocket stoves don't work with sterno cans.
Unless you use a larger sized stove, several sizes.
Or you mod the stove.

Most folk use tea candles or tins filled with alcohol.

Several youtubes on the subject.

The coffee can heater has been around for decades. Most cold state's sites list them for survival car kit. But the floorboard of newer cars have gotten smaller. That big a flame might not work safely in smaller cars. A sterno can or candles inside a coffee can might be better, smaller flames. An Uco...
