Gerber was showing their new nylon sheath that has snap on facebook the other day.

Re: Ran for my life out of the woods.

Heck, I was almost beaned by broken tree limb while taking out the trash one winter, really heavy snow and ice.
Really big crack of sound, didn't know which way to run.
Killed lots of trees all over town.

Re: Alcohol stove explosion.

Hiram Cook on youtube uses alcohol burners all the time, never mentions blow ups. I have seen warnings on sailing web sites that mention alcohol burners causing fires because of blow ups. One guy said his burner had two foot high flame coming out when it blew up. Had read some thought burners were t...

Whenever we went to Port Aransas, TX I hung a black plastic jug, on back of jeep, with hose attached to it to clean ourselves of sand before getting in jeep. Would be warm too. Got it from camping store, sold as solar shower. Been camping in rv with water hose sitting in sun, would get hot enough to...

He’s talking about German kits, not Swedish.
Only the Swedish kit comes with stand and alcohol stove.
Also the Swedish kit doesn’t have an inside cup.

Bought a new laptop so I could play Fall Out 4.
Got all the DLCs with sale on Steam.
Screwed up with spaceship and not sure I want to restart.
When I get tired of playing it, I switch out playing Sims 4 and Sims 3 supernatural.

Why do you call it a Walmart stove?
It's made by UST and you bought it from Walmart.

I buy most of my gear from Walmart but I don't call my Stanley cook set a Walmart cook set.

May work pretty well on a magnesium bar too. There was a guy that used a rasp or file on a mag bar. Also drilled holes in mag bar to make shavings to put in pill bottles. Saved time in not having to shave bar to make fire in a hurry. I used a file/rasp combo tool that had 4 different sections on it...

But on one game I did get a enhanced missile launcher out of a lunchbox.

Haven't noticed too much loss of game. But I'm playing three games anyway. I do have some dwellers ...

It would be really cool if you got to keep raiders' gear after killing them. Some have neat weapons. Also wish you could buy gear. Had several dwellers out for almost a day and they always find same old junk. Radio is calling 24/7. Get cool weapons from lunchboxes which are few. They list neat stuff...

I lost two vaults to radroaches and one to raiders.

Have two or three vaults going at same time.

One vault has 5 dwellers left after roach attack, hard to keep going afterwards.

The bad thing about old threads is that the pic links are usally dead.

On another site, the most mentioned " uncommon item" is...... a condom.
And most say they will use it for water carry.

There was one guy that said he was going to carry water in his mouth, to save him from drinking from water bottle.

Don't think he would have lasted long.

Another guy said he carried Bacos for his shtf food.

YMMV

Esbit pocket stoves don't work with sterno cans.
Unless you use a larger sized stove, several sizes.
Or you mod the stove.

Most folk use tea candles or tins filled with alcohol.

Several youtubes on the subject.
