Even though it is going in a tool box in the garden cart I believe every long gun needs a carry strap/sling/harness of some kind just like every pistol needs a holster.
You are correct, Sir

Re: Firearms Chat: [2021 - Aw, FFS! BOHICA]

For me it's more a matter of extra cost. For the amount of money I'd end up spending adding the extras, I could save myself some hassle and just get the upgraded model from the get go. That way I'd have the gun the way I wanted it and could use the leftover funds for ammo and magazines. I could do ...

Re: Bug Out Gear Deals (Post 'em when you find 'em) I

This thread has been pretty dead lately, huh? Maybe increased awareness of disaster prep has led to higher demand, making deals fewer and farther between? Here's one, I think: Lifestraw Personal water filter: $11.98 ships free with Amazon Prime. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QF3TW4/ref=ox...

Re: What did you today for your BOV/how did you prepare your BOV

Picked up one of these solar panels to try and keep the battery in our spare vehicle charged. Now that we have the Jeep we don't use the pickup as much and the last time I tried to the battery was dead and needed to be recharged. Hopefully, this will stop that from happening again. I have something...

Re: Ukraine vs Russia - Things are heating up

In Ukraine's favour, they're a lot better organised and prepared than they were in the 2014 Donbass War. In Russia's favour, this won't be an opportunistic act by Russia, they've had seven years to plan too. On the whole I'm glad I'm 1300 miles away. sheddi: Do you see NATO getting involved absent ...

Re: Violent Protest in Bristol, England

It's been an unfortunate couple of weeks here in the UK. - A woman went missing on her way home one evening. Her body was found a few days later, some distance away, and a serving Met police officer has been arrested and charged with her kidnap and murder. - Women's rights groups held a vigil in he...
