Re: How do you CCW?

Glock 19 in a Bianchi 100 IWB strong side right hip during the colder months. During the summer I carry a Kel-tec P11 in an Uncle Mikes IWB holster in the 6:00 position. I have a comp-tac Mtac on the way for Christmas for my G19 :)

Re: Hi-Point 9mm Carbine. (Opinions please!)

I have one, and it's probably one of my favorite guns to shoot. It's accurate, and cheap to run. Like some of the others said, one draw back is the low cap. 10 round mags.

The pack does have a sternum strap, and a waist belt although it's hard to see in the pictures. It looks a lot bigger then it actually is, I suppose I could take a picture with it on my back to better illustrate it's size. 34lbs is fully loaded with all of my water containers filled which during the...

Indy's Get Home Bag (56K WARNING)

I guess I'll start by saying this is my bag that stays in my truck at all times. I keep a lot of stuff in the back of my Explorer that supplements some of this bag which I will list later. I will also post a link to what my FAK consists of instead of completely breaking down my entire setup (sorry I...

I have a shit ton of these in various places all over the house, and stashed in my truck. These are also the "backup lights" I spoke of in my previous reply. At $3.99 each there hard to beat, plus theres a Harbor Freight around the corner from my house. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayi...

When I applied for my CCW here in Indiana it was a 6 week turn around before I had my card in hand. I was told they do them in batches, and held them till they had a certain number of applicants before they processed them. Living in the state of New York may also have a bit to do with your situation...

Yea in a PAW situation they wouldn't be worth a shit. I have surefire G2 in my BOB, and a Coast V2 power chip in my GHB as primary lights with a few cheaper 9 LED backup lights in them as well. I use the stinger for my reserve duty with my local PD.

I have a stinger, and it's a rechargeable light that costs over $100. Where are you buying Stingers that take 123's, and cost $30.00 ????

I paid $25 for the extreme wet weather set and $70 for the gortex set. Both are GI issue, and bought off ebay. If it's good enough for our troops it's damn good enough for me !

I also bought an intermediate bag, and bivy for $65 off ebay from a seller called citizenoutfitters. Looked freggin new to me, and again...

I have ordered from them a bunch of times, and the only time I ever had an issue was when something was on back order, which delayed the order only a few days. I have a order placed with them right now for a pair of gortex boots for my fiancee.

Here in Indiana were lucky to be one of the few states offering "Lifetime" permits. I can't remember the exact amounts of money to where, but I'm pretty sure it was $50 to the county, and $75 to the state when I got mine a few years back. Some states just plain suck when it comes to permits. I have ...

We get a lot of rain here in the Ohio river valley so my situation may vary from others. In my GHB I have a GI issue extreme wet weather set. In my BOB I have a GI gortex set, and a poncho. Since these items are essentially made to work together the extreme wet weather jacket is pretty big for a med...
