Re: Experimental Supersoldier Here

I've never been to New York, and I'm also a "fairy" and "doper" myself lol (I'm assuming that individual was using the term in the derogatory sense towards homosexuals.) Not sure who you think I am dude, but you're wrong; I didn't say any of what you quoted. I'd appreciate it if you verified your su...

I wouldn't mind mine being deleted as well; I just don't fit in here.

Re: If you took strangers in your home, what'd be your 3 rule

I guess that's where we differ. I personally don't have problems with any of it; I recognize that sometimes there is no other choice. A strong offense is a good defense in my opinion. If you can't handle that, that's your problem; not mine.

PS: #MakingDeadThingsDeaderSince2003 lmao.

Re: Experimental Supersoldier Here

I used the word Selfishness; not Self Centeredness. There is a difference. I suggest studying up on Ayn Rand. In regards to happiness, I don't care about happiness; I wasn't programmed to be happy, I was programmed to survive. Happiness is just like love, anger, sadness, or guilt; they're all volati...

Re: melee weapons of choice

I'd probably go with a pair of Nunchakus/Okinawan Rice Flails for close to medium range as my first melee weapon. Not necessarily because it's my favorite, but because it's the one I have the most training with and feel confident enough in my ability to use them effectively in combat...it might be a...

Re: Rise of the Synthetic-High Zombies

Ugh, this shit. I've overdosed on spice before. A few times, regrettably. That shit's fucked up; never doing it ever again. I was never hospitalized for it though, because I happen to live in Alaska over 100 miles away from the nearest hospital. I guess I'll try to provide a firsthand account of wha...

No idea what you're talking about; I'm kinda retarded when it comes to guns. I prefer primitive and medieval weapons 'cause they're cooler lol. XD

Re: If you had to, how would you?

Might want to double check that. The huge majority of helmets are IIIA, just like your soft armor. True; the vast majority of helmets are only IIIA, which is why I decided to go with a custom made MICH style helemt that's rated "AS-600 ACH Rifle Resistant" for about 2000 US dollars. You can pick on...

Re: Experimental Supersoldier Here

Ah, gotcha. Nice to hear about having a good crowd here; I'm probably an odd duck. I've been told I have a peculiar way of looking at the world. Some people like it, some people hate it. I don't care. I don't live to appease other people lol. I believe in the virtue of selfishness; a concept which s...

Re: If you took strangers in your home, what'd be your 3 rule

So you're mom said she won't buy you a gun huh? Not even a .22? That's a real bummer, what with Christmas coming and all. Try again on your next birthday I suppose. I actually bought my own gun; dad insisted on it despite my protests; I make a fairly decent living fighting wildfires in the summer t...

Re: If you had to, how would you?

I wouldn't have to worry about it; already bought a bunch of level IIIA and level IV armor; helmets, vests, collars, shoulders, groin, thighs, knees, and shins. The torso armor and helmet are the only pieces that will stop a rifle bullet; all the rest of the armor is rated at level IIIA; enough to s...

Re: Arctic Survival Question

@Woodsghost: Thanks; and indeed haha, it is a pretty bad idea. XD I'm just kinda stuck in a shitty situation with a dysfunctional multi-generational family of eight; I'm getting to the point that I'd rather face down extreme sub-zero temperatures and battle against wild animals....than remain in thi...

Re: Is a "classic" zombie apocalypse now impossible?

Said by every generation since Ogg the cave man invented speech I bet so. It's a cycle after all; society is born, it builds itself up, then collapses, rebuilds from the ashes, rises again, often stronger than the last time, collapses, rebuilds, collapses, and so on and so forth. I think we're in t...

Re: Arctic Survival Question

Thanks for the tips; a snow cave is a good idea; just got a flashback of my childhood when dad took my sister and I out on the river in the middle of winter to dig a cave into a snow drift. It was pretty toasty in there and all bundled up; almost got a little too warm to the point you'd have to eith...

Re: Is a "classic" zombie apocalypse now impossible?

First: The real "Zombie Apocalypse" has already happened in my mind; it's not a matter for me what I should do "when it happens"; it's a matter of "What should I do NOW that it has happened?!" The world as we knew it ended over a decade ago; not with a bang, but with a whimper. The Zombie Plague was...

Arctic Survival Question

So, say I need to take off in the middle of the arctic when it's 60 degrees below zero outside. What apparel would be best to wear, and which tent would be ideal? I can already take care of my food and water needs, and I can build a fire. My main concern is staying warm at night when I'm asleep; wor...
