I still get paranoid about someone spotting it while carrying a full-size handgun unless I'm wearing a jacket. Mostly because I haven't taken the time to buy a quality holster that rides properly. Being not in athletic shape , many holsters ride high up and can create crazy odd angles or grind the g...

I have a Ruger GP 100, but if you don't want a Ruger or DAO, so I won't push for it. Actually, I'm mulling over trading mine for a DA/SA. Under $500, eh? What about a Charter Arms or Dan Wesson? They offer a variety of models for under $400. My mom has a Charter Arms 2000 Undercover in .38 and she r...

Nope. I built a 4 roll toilet paper dispenser with a shelf and gun cradle on it (ala the Al Bundy man's bathroom). It holds a Stoeger 12ga Coachgun, a box of shells, and a Maglite. It hangs right above the toilet off the main bedroom.

I don't think so. All but one of mine have green followers as well. Do Colt mags still use black ones?

Mine are all GI mags. Some have a Bushmaster floorplate, but they're made in the same factory on the same machines.

With everyone wanting 30 rd mags, I'm surprised that surplus 20 rd mags aren't cheap and plentiful. I wonder what happened to them all?

I keep some OTC Prevacid and a roll of Rolaids in my FAK and BOB. For quick relief I rock the Rolaids Wintergreen. If its really bad I take prevacid also. I get heartburn frequent enough that I have a 4x4 under the front of the bed so I sleep at a slant. I really should get it checked out, but I'm d...

That's what I've been dealing with, too. I've ruined a few instant cold packs by leaving them in the vehicle during the winter.

Just what would that disaster be? Well, the group is called the Zombie Squad (or ZS), and it claims the worst of the worst is... zombies.
That's the point. If you're prepared for zombies, you can handle anything. :P

I get 99% of my stuff from Zee Medical . That's who we're contracted through at work for all our first aid cabinets. We have a local route guy who is similarly minded (survival and guns) and he cuts me a break on prices. They carry anything from fingertip bandages to large dressings to AEDs. I got m...

Re: My Township Sent Me a Letter...

My question is this: Can the township come onto our property to check valid plates on our vehicles? My dad is on his local township board and county zoning board. He has to send out letters like this. From what I understand, it's based on nieghborhood complaints and local ordinances. I know when he...

Fox news had something the other night about the Israli Air Force striking an arms cache in Syria. Supposedly the Syrians are trying to put together a short range nuke program.
