I didn't order one, but man, that's a sweet looking backup weapon. I like the tactical update, and the price is right.

They do make blue paracord.

I think KnifeStyle was kidding. Kraton is nice, soft, and grippy. Honestly if it were any softer I'd be really worried about its durability. As it is I think it hits a sweet spot, not too hard, not too soft.

Post a report!

im soo excited me and my buddy has been waiting for 2 months now! I wish they made a kydex sheath for it cause im really wanting one badly! How much would a custom kydex sheath cost? Supposedly you can rig it on your backpack with the paracord wrapped on the fiberglass scabard.. But then again i want something that will hold it nice and tight!

the sheath is fiberglass, and if its like the ones on their medieval series, it may well be a beating implement all on its own- like the fact that they are finally using the plasma coat as it was intended, for corrosion resistance- got so sick of the "super hard titanium plasma coating" bullshit that every other cutlery outfit is spouting.... I will be selling blades in the dealers room at archon, if any ZS people make it there, and will try to have one in stock......

Does anybody know what the guard is made of ? I can't tell wether it is kraton like the handle or steel.

Looks like steel to me, possibly Parkerized.

If that's tactical, your tactics suck.

Would it be out of line to ask if it can cut off a coyote's ear?

Not an ear, it was a whole head that kept biting after being severed from the body.

I dunked a bitch's head in a bucket of ice water one time when she was OD-ing on Xanax. Worked great, but there was a LOT of paperwork afterward.

The wazakashi is the short mans Katana. I think they should get a lot more love.

I always understood them to be a secondary and off hand weapon....

Kydex is nice, but I recommend sewing a row of magnets into the back of a trench coat.

You may very well be correct sir, my statement was a facetious one. I am 5'6'' .... ok dammit 5'5'' and longer blades are a problem for me. I am also not an expert in Japanese cutlery.
