I like it, thumbs up, maybe a extra bottle of water or two. And an emergency blanket or poncho for rough weather.

An itchy army wool blanket, or a space blanket made of mylar?

Already got 3 of them. One could make an awesome shelter with them.

And the extra large thick garbage bags will work as a field poncho. I might look into getting a good milspec poncho in the future but for the amount of rain we get here it isn't warranted at the moment.

Looks pretty good! Since you said it's not completely done, I'm curious what you are planing on adding. After all, you've got everything I've though of for my next one.

To me the only thing that really stands out as missing are some basic medical supplies. You don't seem to have any gauze or simple bandages. The last thing you want is to get a nasty gash on your third day out in the brush and find that all your fabrics are too dirty and soiled to be applied as a bandage.

As always, I'd suggest a bandana as well. They just have too many potential uses to ignore. They make good ties for tourniquests. They make good bandages if they're still clean. They make good sweat bands. They can be used to signal with. Cowboys didn't all wear them just cause they thought they looked good. Just about every time I went camping I ended up using my bandana for one reason or another.

You might also want to throw in a stake or two (I'd suggest either the steel v-style stakes or the thick rebar kind). They'll prove to be a helpful addition if you ever do need to use one of those emergency blankets as a lean-to shelter. They also don't take up much space or weight.

The only other thing I'd mention is the deoderant. It just seems like a a bit too much of a luxury item. Granted, it may be a nice luxury item for a bit, but there are other such luxuries you could carry in its place that could be more helpful and long-lasting. For instance, I'd replace it with a few king-size snickers bars. They'll provide a nice calorie boost and a welcome treat.

Not easy to evaluate a BOB whose items are all lumped in without order.

Listing items under various categories would be more helpful.

I use:
Clothing & Bedding & Shelter
Communication
Documents & Literature
Fire
Food & Water
Hygiene & Health
Navigation
Tools
Transportation & Luggage
Weapons

First Aid Kit, I got this one from cheaperthandirt.com and added 4 more 3inch thick bandage rolls.

I have one in the pouch of the LBE. I like the idea of having a couple though. I will have to find a few more.

That is something I would have to think about. If I needed them I believe I could make stakes using the tools I have on hand.

Being Sweaty = Bad. Its a travel sized stick of deodorant so it does not take up almost any space. I shoved it in a spot that needed filling. I dont really want to have any food that could melt in my BoB as the summer here gets pretty hot. I was thinking about getting a couple MRE brownies though.

That is a fair enough request. Done.

There are somethings I do wish to add right now but I cannot for $$$ reasons. Such as generation 3 NVG’s or a High Quality gas mask.

Nice pic Grifter!
Looks pretty good to me. The NVG's seem like a pretty pricey thing to add, I can think of other things I'd spend the money on first before shelling out for those.

Is the yellow thing with the LCD in the top right your radio?

Yeah I know. Sort of making a joke about things that I want rather then need.

Well sadly my main AM/FM radio got fubar on me so I need to get another. Only radio I have at current is the yellow one.

Handheld Weather Radio WR-102

Heavy one can handle, but the bag itself doesn't look like it has a waist strap or back support. How does it feel on your back? The big thing about packs is they have to feel comfortable to the person wearing them. Because everyone is different, you never know till you try it on. Toss the thing on your back and walk up and down your stairs a few times. Jump up and down with it on and spin around and then stop. put your right foot in and... er... anyway you get the point. How does it feel?

If the bag doesn't move when you spin and jump; as if it was an extension of your body... then your all set. If the balance is off though you might want to look into a different pack sometime up the road. When the PAW comes you might be doing some walking and its better to find out now that your pack isn't comfortable.

I do have to say cheers about being able to fit all that in the pack!!! Amazing job. Lots of useful stuff in there too!

Just my 2 copper.

Sorry about the hold up with the answers.

The LBV weighs in around 5-10lbs. and the Backpack around 20-25lbs.

It does have a waist strap but I dislike the materials it is made out of and will be sewing a mod to it(Either a new strap or an ingenious way to attach it to my pistol belt, not exactly sure yet). Even when I don’t use the waist strap I find it does not float around on me and is quite secure. It also has MOLLE attachment points which are a nice plus.

At a walking pace I can wear all the weight very easily. I wanted to test that though and I hiked with all my gear over to the Park which is a mile or two from my house. I wouldn’t want to run in it for any long length of time(As I do not have the stamina I used too). But I got to the park, rested by the lake a bit, and then headed home without much incident. This whole set up is basically a “I might have to walk a bit but I will have my Jeep for major travel.”

If I knew I was going to have to hike for longer distances I would want to take my framed mountain hiking back pack though. I could damn near carry half my house in that thing.

Its not really that big.

Its pretty much a knockoff of the Maxpedition "Falcon".

I might also sew in new shoulder straps.

This is where I bought mine.

For the price I am surprised at how well it has held up so far. It is a nice pack though. Just wouldn’t want to hike the Appalachian Trail with just that but for short distances and use with a vehicle I believe it will be worth its weight in gold.

My first BoB setup was an ALICE pack and the main compartment caused a lot of disarray with my equipment. The compartments in this are big enough to accommodate all that gear I have listed and organized enough that I know where everything is. I am very happy with it.

Update:

Switching out the buttpack on the LBE with this one. Also looking into getting a better set of ruck straps for my BoB, I am currently looking at the ruck strap upgrade that BHI has. Anyone have experience with them?
